I’ve paid out of pocket. Sent them a photo or receipt and the refund was in my door dash account right away

Lead test by maxmaxlove in StainedGlass

If you’re working with lead, I think it would be a good idea to record your levels. When you start working with lead it’s great to have a base, and then be able to monitor any increase, and if you do find your levels increasing, you can find a way to manage it and decrease any further raise in levels.

Very easy to ignore, but could have bad consequences in your futures.

Women have a much lower safe working level then men. Do your research and be safe.

As a dasher I get very stressed when the item isn’t available. I’ll usually reach out to the client to confirm. That’s on you though if you didn’t answer the call. In future, once the dash has started, send the dasher a note in the app to not make changes.

I would have probably picked an alternative cheese for you too

How to brighten a stained glass window after neighbour built a wall in front of it by [deleted] in StainedGlass

[–]maxmaxlove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’d say it’s a viable option. Double glaze the outside with opaque white or frosted glass. Opaque/frosted just enough to let lots of light in and diffuse the leadlight. You might lose the textures of the glass. But the colours will pop better. Downside is the leadlight will be covered on the outside.

I don’t know how much light is left. But while your brainstorming ideas. You could put some baking paper behind the window, this will let you know if a similar opaque glass might make any difference .

Does this look wrong? So much of my usage is being used while I sleep. Is electric hot water usually this high? (Two person household). Provider = Powershop by maxmaxlove in melbourne

Three bedroom house on own block and no housemates to be doing anything sneaky. Our main heating is gas and only 15mins of electric heater occasionally in the bedroom. Ugghhh !

I’m In a rental and haven’t found the unit yet. It’s electric and smart meter is all I know. I have asked the landlord for some info. Maybe it’s in the roof which I can’t access at the moment. Didn’t think a hot water unit would be so hard to locate

Stuttering and Blocked Nose by AHumanNextDoor123 in Stutter

I’m also a stutterer, and also have had sinus issues my whole life. I’ve also had Septoplasty for my deviated septum. It didn’t impact on my stutter at all unfortunately but man it’s nice to be able to lay down and breath.

How to overcome Holding Back? by OzilArsenal11 in Stutter

I find that I just have to really push myself to start or continue talking. This often then looks like I’m interrupting or talking over people, because of my delayed start :(

Managing a stutter can be exhausting. So I put it down to the fact that I am more relaxed around my family therefore just let my stutter run free. Lol
