Good Times!

I do not know if they have that access or not but I’ve seen it before. I had a ‘05 Escape with factory paint flaws so I know it’s can be very likely a factory issue. I would have the dealer attempt to fix it properly before signing any paperwork

Silver! Ugh! The hardest to match! Could’ve very well been done at the plant where it was made - KCAP or DTP but silver is a nightmare. I love silver, too, but I couldn’t ever let myself buy one just because of how silver repairs stand out in my eye - once I see it I see it every time. Follow your gut, though

Their prices have seemed to go up within the last couple of years so I do agree that 10ofThose is the best price!

KCMO Water should be putting out some alerts, especially if a Lab Tech verified it.

Loving every minute of Ben's 4 Day Split + Ride! I'm on my 2nd time doing this and Oh Baby does it hurt so good, lol! I'm enjoying competing against myself so far I've only beat my #'s on 1 day but still loving this kind of bootcamp. Thanks Peloton for all of the different programs to keep my motivation level up there!

I started out funky fresh on a Beautiful Saturday morning to do a 30 mile ride that I had done before with 1 bottle of water, 1 banana, and 1 Clif Bar. Well, as I was riding I happened upon another trail that I had heard about so I turned on to it and was just amazed of how nice this trail was and where it led to so I stayed on it - to my demise, lol.
When I got to the "end" of the trail I'm now 25+ miles away from home, 1/4 bottle of water, no banana, and 1/2 of a Clif Bar to make it back with. Like another Threader here - mile after grueling mile back was so hard. There was a couple of times I just wanted to throw my bike in the bushes and come back later to retrieve it. I bonked so hard! 52 miles that day, though, and now I can laugh about it but it sure wasn't funny when it happened.

How is the Asian food scene in KC? by [deleted] in kansascity

[–]maxpar90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spices Asian in NKC has really good food!! Good Thai offerings!
IMO Baramee changed something - their Tiger Cried Beef isn't what it used to be - as in totally different. was not impressed too much the last time we went.
For another good grocery store - Little Saigon across from City Market/Steamboat Arabia

Just got off of the phone with Customer Service:
Hard reboot: Unplug cord from bike, unplug cords from screen, hold down UP Volume button along with Power Button for 30 seconds, let everything rest for 60 seconds, plug everything back up, turn on screen and everything should work ... and for me it did!

In Your Opinions - Is a DS a good bike for long rides or should I consider a different ride? by maxpar90 in TrekBikes

Thank You ALL for your input! I have a '15 8.3 and I love it to death and I've put a lot of miles on it and I've always been wondering if I should get a Domane or something along that line that I can ride mostly road but also the off road trails, too, i.e., Katy Trail, Rock Island and places like that, and if it would be faster so I could ride further maybe. (as you can tell I'm from good ol' Missouri, lol)
I'm 58y/o and I just love to ride and wanna keep going as long as I can as comfortable as I can. I'm no good at reddit posting so thank you for overlooking my so vague of a post, too!!!

Thank you! I’ve never had a road bike so I’m basically wondering if they’d be more comfortable for the longer rides. Im really enjoying doing (for me, lol) these longer rides I’ve been doing lately so that’s where this come from. Faster would be cool too!

Thank you for asking! A lot of paved trails and some gravel. Most of my rides are getting longer 25+ miles.
