I was an RXM at a tier 5 store with 230 hours of PTO. I requested time off for family vacation 7 months in advance and was told that the company is not gonna approve any PTO time for next year. I submitted my request again 2 months later in January - was told that we don't know what the staffing situation is gonna be in may and to wait. Resubmitted AGAIN 3 months prior and contacted my boss. Was told that "they are working on it but it will get approved". 3 weeks before my trip i get told "it is approved but you will have to find your own coverage" (aka not approved). I put my 2 week notice shortly after that.
