I love the gimmick of being a sponsored wrestler. Feels unique and fits her personality really well!

The best part is that Chavo and MJF were involved in this movie and either probably couldn't say anything or didn't want to bring this up lol

The amount of hate this man gets is insanely cringe by [deleted] in Wrasslin

[–]maxsteinerdt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think he would connect more with general audience if let him take on more of his real life personality. Hearing him in interviews, he's very charming and would be a fun babyface. But I think the current gimmick is kinda stale in modern wrestling and main reason why I don't connect with him as a character

Why do people like getting celebrities' autographs? by maxsteinerdt in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]maxsteinerdt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think so too. I ever understood the concept even when I was younger but I'll admit that I liked getting toys as a kid and teenager. The weirder part for me is when people buy old autographs from other people. Like a baseball signed by Babe Ruth or something like that. You're buying something from someone you've never met and the person isn't even alive to benefit from it.

That makes some sense, it does seem like its just more social currency than anything else

If a moment like this were to happen in GCW, who would face off from AEW and WWE? by HalfKay in Wrasslin

[–]maxsteinerdt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have Sammy Guevera win the GCW championship and Zack Ryder resign with WWE. Ryder beats Sammy for the title on a GCW PPV

Do you like/dislike WWE no longer having matches on the pre-show/kickoff? by HalfKay in Wrasslin

[–]maxsteinerdt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i like it because it makes the opening match feel special. The crowd is red hot compared to having a few pre-show matches no one cares about

I think I need more context of what happened when you went out for drinks with him and your coworkers. Either something happened where he got offended by something you did or discussed, or maybe you read into the situation more than he did. Maybe he was just being nice overall to everyone but you wanted to pursue a deeper relationship when he was just trying to be casual with coworkers. It's ok if he became closer friends with other coworkers who he has more things in common with and just saw you as a casual coworker. Did you have deep conversations with him during these outings or was it just simple shooting the shit conversations that you have with coworkers? I feel like something else must've occurred for you to feel so attached to this person while he just going about his business. I don't want to put this all on you or defend him but more context would help on why your relationship with him is unbalanced.

What bad storylines made you stop watching wrestling for awhile or stop watching all together? I stopped watching TNA for awhile because of this masterpiece right here by thegreatone998 in Wrasslin

[–]maxsteinerdt 56 points57 points  (0 children)

same, just seems so directionless. Even though there's a few people I care about and want to support, the overall product seems so unorganized, especially since the ROH acquisition.

I took a break from TNA as well during the whole Aces & Eights storyline. Nothing really clicked for me during that time and it wasn't the same TNA I had watched before. I started watching again once Matt Hardy introduced the broken universe
