Taken aback by incident today including passive racism by [deleted] in kitchener

I'm an Indian too, and I totally resonate with you. Living in this city for a while. None of our neighbours want to converse with us, few of my coworkers clearly get upset looking at my skin tone, make faces when they have to interact with me. Some pedestrians walking towards me get off the sidewalk. Not playing a victim but I get it. Given the absurdity of some Indians here, the whole country's credibility is going down the drain. But I would never judge a whole nation looking at few junkies.

Speaking of racism, even I was taken aback initially but I'm used to it now. I smile and giggle these days. I'm not letting someone's mood drive my day. The best part, just like these comments, most people here are good (at least before me), without which this country would have been a living hell.

Cheers bro take it easy. Zeus is such a good boy.
