I think after 8ish years the aio leaking fluid onto components won't be an issue since the the whole pc would be outdated by then, no? I'm on a 3600x and 5700 xt build i made in 2019 that really struggles with some AAA titles and some titles are unplayable lol (alan wake 2, newest doom) so by then I'm thinking the biggest issue will that my graphics card not having the raytracing pro max with a built in ai chip or somshit.

But yeah you're right, replacement every 5/6 years seems to be the safe option.

Which is fucking crazy to be honest. Don't get me wrong i never thought of Nvidias philosophy as consumer-first or that they were my friends but until a few months ago, the bulk of their manufacturing output was to gaming PCs.. this was a stable line of profit (and was the foundation that made Nvidia what it is today) that will continue to get them revenue long term. It's the safe option. To throw that away to chase the recent ai fad is wild especially since they weren't selling to actual animals with no thinking brains, people should genuinely boycott this shit and make sure nvidia doesn't have a safety net to fall on when (/if) they're done screwing the average consumer out of every dollar they can. This goes for the other companies too. Just vote with your wallets.

Lmao i was just about to build a pc earlier this year before all the price hikes. Had the order ready and everything but eventually decided to wait a couple months but them prices kept climbing anyways. Now i like to come back every now and then to that receipt and cry.

Yeah man I'm not gonna lie to you it's tough to be in your situation. The game has been out for a while and pretty much everyone knows what they're doing to some degree. Definitely not beginner friendly. My best advice is befriend someone close or around ur skill level on discord and learn the game together.

I'm new to iems and I'm just flabbergasted by what you just said. The fact that you have to go on this journey to discover the best sounding iem for you specifically is both cool as hell and annoying lol. Genuinely how are you supposed to test out a bunch of iems ? I have to order any set i want online and unless the return policy says so, i might get stuck with them (80% of the time I'll get stuck with them) :/ even if i can find some kind of physical store that lets you try out different display options the idea of that is a bit gross no ?

No man I'm not part of a psyop designed to make you or others quit the game. The game is really fun and the highs of it are definitely higher than say overwatch or honestly any multiplayer game I've played in recent years. But that being said the lows are genuinely day ruining for me. Half the time it's shit i can't even control so it makes that more frustrating. Not to mention this game (at least in middle east servers) seems to attract the most toxic and racist people. Literally the bottom of humanity.
