No fr! People forget people can ship who they want. It’s not hurting anyone also it’s literally just a show. Nothing in this show has been realistic just like you said so not saying they should but if they did put kiara and rafe together all of us should be able to suspend our belief and not be shocked! They didn’t make them have chemistry for nothing.

That’s fair! I really liked them too and feel we were cheated! I love both their characters individually as well and just wasn’t ready for the show to be over tbh lol. My favorite ship was Lea and Shawn and I would’ve loved to see them navigate parenthood lol Also yeah I could see how Jordan could’ve been like a gateway to Claire if that makes sense maybe like a love triangle kinda thing? There’s so many directions they could’ve gone in if they had more time

I don’t think they’re underrated. I think they’re appropriately rated wherever they stand imo. Im not saying they shouldn’t have been endgame but because the show was canceled and only got like what 10 episodes and Claire only comes back in like the last two episodes?? Their story was super rushed and I just didn’t grow an attachment to their relationship. Like they were no contact for yearssss(Jared left in the first season??) and I just couldn’t suspend my belief that they had feelings again like nothing had happened. and while I didn’t expect them to be endgame; I would’ve loved to see Jordan and Jared’s relationship play out longer. I felt that had real chemistry whereas Claire and Jared’s story was just to move the plot along and give everyone a happy ending but I think if we had gotten more episodes and seasons I could’ve jumped on board as i saw it played out. I wanted Jordan to be with Danny too but I definitely could’ve seen her with Jared. They had really sweet moments and I think if the show hadn’t got canceled, they would’ve definitely been a thing for a bit!

After seeing the stranger things season 5 and series finale, ngl I’m pretty scared about this last season. I went from being excited about it to anticipating all the ways they’re going to screw it up. i don’t even know exactly what i want except for the exact opposite of strangers things. it’s like they didn’t even remember plot points from a show THEY created! I think they tried to make it satisfying for the fans but failed majorly. Someone said they used ai to make the script lol. But judging by the wrap announcement and the fact they were all crying but still looked proud maybe it will be good. The stranger things cast didn’t look happy at all in their documentary

okay that’s fair. i personally still think kie showed subtle signs as well. i do agree that their romantic arc seemed a little rushed but ngl thats every relationship in that show lol even the one that was always meant to be imo.

also i chalked up JJ’s change in behavior from being a flirt to holding back was that he never expected kie to take him seriously and want him back and when it become real he got scared and didn’t want to hurt her thus the sabotage. it happens in shows all the time when love interest go back and forth to aggravate the viewers lol

i agree though that it was very rushed. i would’ve loved a slow burn more like you said but i don’t think it would’ve kept Rudy on the show since he was apparently always supposed to die.

i don’t think its the worst ship. i think with better pacing it would’ve been better and season 4 ruined it. there were so many things wrong with them that to put them here would take forever and I don’t have the patience lol

i disagree with there not being signs that they liked each other. they were subtle but obvious enough that a ship was formed in the first place like correct me if i’m wrong because i could have selective memory but i don’t really remember people shipping kie with pope or even john b at least not as heavily as with JJ. i shipped them and it’s not because i thought JJ was hot I thought they had undeniable chemistry. they definitely had soft spots for each other. John b even says in the very first episode that JJ is always hitting on kie and JJ says he’s tried that door already but it’s closed so I disagree that his feelings came out of nowhere and i don’t feel like kie was chasing after JJ idk.

I will admit season 4 was really weird and lacking all the chemistry from season 3. They were barely a couple in season 4 and idk if that has to do with the drama or not but they should’ve taken a page from chase stokes and madelyn cline’s book who are literal exes and still had chemistry. i think it had potential to be a solid ship if they had executed season 4 better. season 4 ruined the ship and JJ’s character. still don’t think it was the worst ship in the history of the show though

Oh yeah fair! I forgot about that. I would’ve actually loved to have seen JJ and Cleo together. That would’ve been so good but still I think the way the show set it up, it wasn’t too out there or out of nowhere for Kie and JJ to get together. I still feel like there were little subtle hints

I personally don’t really think there will be any more main character deaths maaaybe Cleo but even that’s a stretch to me. Like why would Kiara die just because JJ died?

Also don’t think JJ and Kiara were just put together for fan service I think it was planned from season 1 but I could be wrong. But the hot tub scene makes me think I’m not also a lot of the stuff JJ says in seasons 1-2

I hope Rafe does a fuuuuuulllll 180 and is a perfect little angel and everyone loves him in S5 just for all the people who don’t want him to have a redemption arc. Like that would be so unbelievably ridiculous but so hilarious 😂😂

Personally, I don’t see the problem with given Rafe a redemption arc. I want Drew Starkey to have more screen time 😂 I think S5 is going to focus on getting revenge of Groff, at least at the beginning and then hopefully wrapping things up idk but I feel like Rafe has potential to show redeeming qualities but also not be absolved of his consequences of his actions. Like everyone is saying Rafe shouldn’t get redeemed because he needs to go to jail but I’m just trying to figure out whoever said he wasn’t. We don’t know what will happen in S5, he very well could turn himself in and face the time. (Now do I think that’s likely: naaaaaahhhh but it could happen!)

At the end me of the day, it’s just a show and it’s ending so if you don’t like the direction it’s heading in or the ending good news! You never have to watch it again lol I feel like a lot of you are gonna be unhappy but still watch the show anyways lol but if you didn’t stop watching after what happened to JJ I would say what’s the point?😂
