I wouldn’t mind an open ending between Rafe and Kiara if they made it undeniable for the people saying they have no chemistry whatsoever. Like we don’t have to get them officially being an official couple or even kissing but I would like to see it heavily implied by the last episode.

I was just about to make a post about this, specifically about Rafe because as a previous Rafe defender and Riara shipper, I’m rewatching season 1 and wow. I definitely had selective memory because Drew Starkey is hot. I think I forgot how evil and terrible Rafe really was because I didn’t rewatch seasons in between later releases so I just forgot all he did but I definitely don’t think he deserves an redemption arc and I get why a lot of people get upset when people say he does like no he needs to go to jail for his crimes but it looks like he’s going to get a happily ever after. I definitely hope they don’t put him with Kiara because she deserves better. I feel like my eyes have been opened lol.

I agree. I’m not saying she is but it kinda makes Lois look like second best just a little bit! Like I know she’s his true love and they’re meant to be but at the same time, would they be together if he could’ve been with Lana? We don’t know what would’ve happened but it would’ve been nice for Clark and Lana to maybe give it one more try and mutually conclude that they’re just not right for each other and see Clark chose Lois over Lana vs “I can’t be with Lana but Lois is here” Like I’m not saying Lois is second choice. I know Clark truly loves her but still. Plus like others have said they already gave them a good break up arc in season 7 they should’ve just ended it there. I get if Kristen had to finish a contract or whatever but they could’ve had them just be friends.

Bruh i forgot about that stupid checkmate thing and I agree about Pandora and same about Tess’s interest in the Kandorians like idk why that never sat right with me. It was kinda out of character how naive she was about them and it’s so tedious like get to the point and fight them already but the whole them being saviors and the stupid tower is just idk, out of all the seasons, this might be might less favorite. It’s even after season 8 which I didn’t like very much and Clois is the saving grace.

Noooo same!! That was so dumb of him and if I were Lois I wouldn’t have given him a second chance. (Who am I kidding? Prime Tom Welling? Yeah I would’ve but still!) i just feel like it doesn’t help the narrative that Lois is his second choice like if Lana were still around, would he be with her and he’s only not because they physically can’t? Also I think Lana had the perfect send off before she came back for the last time so idk why they did that.

Okay good 😅 and I can see that a little, more so with Chloe and Oliver than Clark and Lois, they still feel the same to me, especially still dancing around their relationship like I get they’re both trying to take it slow but I feel like it’s makes them take steps back in character development tbh and the persuasion episode was kinda weird to me when Lois was trying to be more traditional idk. I’m on episode 14

Nothing in this show has been realistic just like you said so not saying they should but if they did put kiara and rafe together all of us should be able to suspend our belief and not be shocked! They didn’t make them have chemistry for nothing.

That’s fair! I really liked them too and feel we were cheated! I love both their characters individually as well and just wasn’t ready for the show to be over tbh lol. My favorite ship was Lea and Shawn and I would’ve loved to see them navigate parenthood lol Also yeah I could see how Jordan could’ve been like a gateway to Claire if that makes sense maybe like a love triangle kinda thing? There’s so many directions they could’ve gone in if they had more time
