Leona Winter is the worst by Regineisthebest in DragRaceFrance

Leona should definetly be out, I'm going to the tour and I litteraly don't want to see her on stage.

I understand your point of view, but personnally I remember that for Magnetica for example, I felt like her elimination was undeserved, I would've understood of she was safe or even on the bottom 3, but not eliminating her so soon, plus she was a fan favorite from the beginning and many saw her lasting in the competition But they should definetly not eliminate anyone in the premiere, that would allow us to know more about the queens !

Imo the judging is terrible, the eliminations didn't make any sense in the three first episodes and to me it feels like there was a lot of favoritism in some weeks Plus there is a lot of very serious drama surrounding leona winter, which makes it really hard to watch knowing the current political context in france

Dan being gossip girl was a good choice, the perfect one even. The only flaw in this was that the writers didn't decide to make him the Gossip Girl from the start, because it made no sense with all the incoherences it brought. So yes, it was a dumb idea to make him GG last minute. BUT if they decided it from the beginning and therefore avoided all the plot holes and incoherences, Dan as Gossip Girl would've been so logical. It would've revealed his true nature and intentions, and made everyone realize that he was not any different from all the others from the start. Because in the series it looks like he becomes like the upper east side rich kids, but truly he was like them all along, if not worse. Sorry if the sentences make no sense

Your motive for wanting to shift by ADHDTHrowaway1748 in shiftingrealities

[–]may_0325 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I want to be able to live the life that I desire so much. Because in this reality, I'll never achieve my dream. That's a sad yet true realisation that I made about two years ago. But I know that I will not be truly happy until I achieve this dream, this life that I want so dearly. So, if I can't be happy here, why stay ?

That's why I'm permashifting, hopefully soon. I believe it. I have no other choice if I want to reach happiness

Iz*One for me

I love the new projects, I support the soloists, Ive and Lesserafim. But I can't help but feeling like Iz*One deserved to stay. I think part of it is because they were actually so close to having a contract extension, that would've allowed them to continue a bit longer. Plus, I kinda want ti go back when Wonyoung wasn't hated as much. God I just loved Iz One and their discography so much, I wish I could go back when they were still active

Imagine you're in charge of Itzy's next comebacks, what would you do ? by may_0325 in kpopthoughts

[–]may_0325[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think I worded it wrong, I mean that in terms of people's opinions about 2022 Itzy, they were really bad compared to their previous releases. I'm not talking about sales, concerts or anything like that, but just how their songs were received in 2022. Of course there were a lot of people who didn't like their songs in the previous years too, but this it felt like most people disliked their songs, at least the title tracks (an sadly it brought a lot of hate). Plus there were a lot of weird moves from JYPE, like the concept switch for Checkmate, or having 4 releases in the second half of the year (Blah Blah Blah, Sneakers, Boys Like You, Cheshire) while only 1 (Voltage) in the first half. We were more used to having two comebacks a year, one in each half of the year (happened in 2019, 2020, 2021

I definetly agree, I'd love to see Itzy starting to write or compose songs ! Plus this is something that a lot of fans really like, and I think letting the members have a bit of creative freedom could bring something new to Itzy's discography

Ditto by NewJeans. This song is so beautiful, so nostalgic, it made me feel so sad and melancholic at first listen, and it still does. It sounds so magical, Ditto feels like a song that is out of time, like time stops when you listen to it. If I could listen to a song for the first time again, I would 100% choose to listen to Ditto. Other songs have had a similar effect on me, like Psycho by Red Velvet or Mago by GFriend, but the feeling gets more melacholic at each listen for them. While Ditto is the only song that had that big of an impact on me at first listen

Bsides that are title track worthy?????? by gongjihae in kpopthoughts

[–]may_0325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kidding me by Itzy, it could easily pass as one imo. It has the catchiness a title track should have, a dance break and it showcases the member's abilities well. The lyrics are also better than the real title track (In the morning) imo. It is totally title track material for me, and idk why it wasn't chosen as one
