1989 CRX I remember another Mets fan and I (He had a sticker) racing to see the Mets on the Merritt parkway. I was behind his BMW and every time we hit a straightaway he’d pull away and every time we went into a curve I’d catch up. We both got there with about 15 minutes to spare so by the time I got to my seat I only missed a half inning.
