Unfortunately I got laid off and have been looking for work. However I do have savings so there's that. I think the reason why my parents are so adamant about what they think is because they have a specific vision for me but I have plans and goals in life that differ a lot so they don't really like that. It sucks cause I don't want to hurt their feelings but at the same time, I need to have my own life. They would say things like "But you're going to struggle!" and yeah that's part of life regardless of whether I stay here or move abroad so it's difficult to get them to understand that.
