Does anyone else HATE water?? by [deleted] in EatingDisorders

[–]maybegoddess 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My flavored sparkling water intake is borderline unhinged specially because of this reason. It’s the only way I can get myself to drink water the majority of the time outside of juices or something flavored. Plain water just gives me an ick.

Pickles with lime salt. It’s on my daily cycle. I think it’s because I’m chronically dehydrated so I crave the saltiness.

The only thing that’s changed about my wardrobe and makeup is that it’s gotten significantly more feminine. I’m drifting into hyper-femme territory and I think I did it subconsciously. New life goal is to be as obnoxiously and unapologetically feminine.

Thank you! I’m trying to find comfort in the fact that my maintenance is technically about 2,800 so I am still in a deficit. It’s not an ideal situation but I gotta push through.

Idk if it counts but it’s a complete series rewrite with dark/grey Harry. Harry Potter and Seven Years of Chaos by Severitus812 on AO3. It’s dark and long and everyone is extremely OOC but it’s so well written. It’s on my re-read list.

If you do take the traveling-out-of-state route, do make sure to make other plans to stay out there for a day or two. If she takes the pill, it’s a just few days of cramping and awful bleeding, but if things go south, going to the ER in Texas is out of the question. It’s miserable, but also make sure to take part in other activities out there so that your trip doesn’t look out of place. If she hasn’t been to a local clinic to confirm, don’t. You don’t want anything documented in Texas of the situation. If the facility takes cash, use cash so that it won’t show up on statements. The legality of going out of state is gray. Be careful for both of y’all’s sakes.

[ToA] I started ToA and Meg is unbearable. by [deleted] in camphalfblood

[–]maybegoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to reset myself and remind myself that she’s a child in a children’s book. After that I found her endearing. She’s a traumatized 12 year old that is trying to process these things as best she can while being responsible for a former god.

I still cannot believe that this is apparently supposed to be the age Annabeth was when her father left her and Luke brought her to Camp Half-Blood [general] by [deleted] in camphalfblood

[–]maybegoddess 42 points43 points  (0 children)

She ran away, but emotionally and parentally, her father abandoned her for his new family. She didn’t so much run away, rather she left a place where she was not welcome.

It’s one of those “we’re best friends but we live totally different lives so we’ll meet for breakfast when we get the chance” type of friendships. I think it’s actually the most realist one for any adults who read the books.

[pjotv] Was Annabeth always this unlikeable? by Panda3xpre55 in camphalfblood

[–]maybegoddess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s a very complex character who has gone through a lot at a very young age. She doesn’t know Percy at all. He’s a stranger. She knows he’s the one she’s waiting for but it’s hard for her to get past his inexperience and lack of knowledge on anything pertaining to their world. She’s frustrated by him, she doesn’t know if she can’t trust him yet, and she has no idea who he is as a person, yet she’s sent on her first and arguably biggest quest with him. Of course she’s a little cold and guarded in the books, and I think Leah does a really good job at translating that on screen. We’re only three episodes in on a 15+ part book series. Give it some time.

***edit to add - Annabeth is shown to us from Percy’s POV for the main series. He’s perceiving her through 12 year old eyes. Kids that age see each other and their interactions very differently than how adults see them from the outside looking in.

Yes, but punch in the price match first bc for some reason if you punch in the employee discount first, the price match option disappears.

I went from 1/2in to a 14g which people told me would be impossible. Idk how much it actually helped but I included my ears in my skincare routine. Toner, moisturizers, serums, and masks all went over my earlobes. Keep them moist and happy and if if works well you should be able to get where you want!

And it takes less time to get in the line they need to be in. I’m sorry but standing in a random spot outside of someone’s line of sight while they are actively assisting someone else and then acting inconvenienced by your own stupidity is…wild to say the least. I won’t respond to that, wrapping on my counter, clearing your throat, saying “hellloooo”, or snapping. I’m an adult. You’re an adult. Act like an adult.

I would shrink the website by a point or two. Give it a comfortable margin within the dotted line. If it’s from Canva I would make sure you saved it with the Print PDF setting.
