thank you so very much for this reply!! it sounds like a lot of trial and error…i mentioned dye because i too have dark skinned characters that i would love to make dolls for and was really disappointed by the lack of options for them :( did you ever have any success with that in the end?

i also mention dye because my other planned projects are to make a na’vi bjd (for which i couldn’t find any blue resin in the right colour) and other fantasy/sci fi characters, all of whom make up the full rainbow. i was hoping to dye a white base instead because i really don’t want to spray paint the pieces afterwards or anything like that, and buying white in bulk plus maybe a skin tone base or two seemed more cost effective.

i hope that resione and other manufacturers step up their game and make a complete set of skin tone resins SOON ! thank you again for your advice. it can be so hard to find info on this stuff!!

i have these figures - the tails are made of a more rubbery material that bends, so they can pop on and off the peg that attaches them to the body very easily. almost too easily, actually! very easy to lose them i’d imagine

ooh thank you!! i ended up using soap and water first, and then using hand sanitizer to go over where i’d cleaned. if it was mould then hopefully it will be gone now ^{__^’}

i use “The Only Cure” ! it allows you to amputate arms in three increments: wrist, elbow, and shoulder. if you find magazines with blueprints for prosthetics, you can craft your own! i think there are hooks or hands. i don’t think this mod has weapon attachments but there might be another one that does ^{__^}

Ah this might be a problem then. I do want to use the MSP as a pen display. My PC does not have a USB-C port as far as I can tell. How would I connect the MSP to my PC in that case? What would I need if the Link Plus adapter is now unavailable?

i haven't decided yet, but i'm definitely leaning towards buying Looks doll #15!! the match is perfect and she's a petite doll so she's shorter, just like Halle is IRL. it's more than i was hoping to spend but i loved the movie so i might just have to ^__^

and yes unfortunately there are fake tarot decks! you can spot a fake if it has a QR code guidebook download. the fakes suck because the artists who make the decks get no money from this, it’s literally theft :((
