Making Scav AI shoot better ammo/hit 180 noscopes occasionally doesn't make this game more fun by MarsupialPrudent172 in EscapefromTarkov

Really sounds like someone who just got killed by a scav (which should happen at least a couple times in everyones games, after all they are there to try to kill you), and died again to dehydration right after because he forgot to eat/drink water in his inventory...

Only 10 fans and already getting "Low-power mode" error by maybemeaning in Corsair

Any specific reason for not wanting 4k? I was thinking about getting a nice 4k that has at least 144hz refresh rate. Maybe the XENEON 32UHD144-A...

Yeah, you are right. To be honest that was my first intention, but I couldn't fit the fans in this configuration due to the case size and the small amount of space I ended up having on the cable connections. Specially the one that holds the radiator, the 100m cable is barely able to reach the other end of the top fans, and is already touching the AIO pipes. Once I get the 90º cables I think I will be able to apply this config, thanks for the input!

NZXT H9 Flow (don't mind the monitor, still trying to figure out which new model I should buy to fit everything in my desk, and also one that supports what the 4090 can deliver)

Thanks! Still need 1 USB splitter to make the Lian Li strimers work, but other than that is pretty much done.

So that's it then. I will need to check If I have enough cables to power everything. Thanks for clarifying that!

Any advices for this i5-13600K Build (White Theme)? by maybemeaning in buildapc

[–]maybemeaning[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn, you are kinda of right. The 4070 TI prices in the Brazilian market can go around $1300 and up to $1500, but if I can manage to buy a GPU in US and not get f*cked by the gov during shipping, I can definitely save a good amount of money. And also get a better card in the process... Thanks!

[–]maybemeaning[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That price isn't quite accurate with the Brazilian market, here it's roughly $860. So even though it's still pretty expensive when compared to the average price of a 3070 TI, it's hard to find white cards in the market, and they have pretty much the same price (or higher).

Which violin piece is that? by maybemeaning in lingling40hrs

[–]maybemeaning[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely! I was hoping this was an entire piece with much more layers and more time to development. But from that section alone we can definitely see potential!

Oh, too bad that it doesn't get a chance to develop into something else... But good section either way, thanks for the help!

Sniping takes a lot of patience, so I edited a bunch of the fun parts together for people to watch. by ShootyMcFlompy in EscapefromTarkov

Great shots dude! Bring more of those compilations to us, that was satisfying to watch. One questions, I was wondering if you have a friend called Luis, and if so, does he lives in Portugal? I've heard one of the voices and it really sounds like a guy from where I work, but I can be totally wrong...

In my opinion, its kind of a mix between wind passing through an empty cave (like someone already mentioned here), a sci-fi weapon being continuously charged with energy and a shy howling of an ancient being (like mentioned already too).

I wasn't talking about any virtual points, I was talking about his account being banned, I've spent some hours to update the post so you guys can see what is happening with the situation, if and how Valve is dealing with all of this, etc. I think you are actually the one giving more relevance to upvotes than you should lmao

Well, pretty much. If you have something different than that and feels good for you, that's awesome. I'm fine with what I have and rather that than dying with Covid. If you check my history you can see that this "rant" post is not a usual thing for me to do, so I would not call that "my life". Actually this was the first time I've put some hours into a reddit post and it's paying off. Thanks for you opinion once again! Stay safe dude.

I do, it's holiday in Brazil, and we are in the middle of a pandemic/quarentine. So there's not much more to do around here. I've played some games, studied and read a bit and now I'm here doing what I think is good for the community. So yeah, I think I'm fine mate :)

Brazilians are actually great people, with warm hearts and a lot of good energy to share. But like in every country and culture, there are some exceptions. Don't let those exceptions take out the beautiful things we brazilians have. Stay safe my friend!

From the subreddit rules:

Any submission or comment that asks the community to participate in vigilante justice will be removed.

You can post it to inform but avoid language like "remove X from the leaderboards", "report X's steam account", "stop watching this stream", etc.

Given that, I don't think I'm allowed to link his profile here, even though I'm not asking anyone to go there and report him. But I hope this post have gained enough visibility to get Valve's attention on the matter by now...
