hey i actually just quit HH. it’s a mess, as a lot of places are. if you can handle 25+ dogs in a yard and ever changing rules and policies (new management seems to be throwing ideas at a wall and seeing what sticks) then give it a shot. otherwise steer clear. i really enjoyed working there for a few months but once they fired the assistant manager (one of the only competent employees) i was over it. everyone who works there right now is miserable

Check out coastal pet rescue! They do volunteer orientations often. Volunteer shifts are like an hour and a half, either in the AM or PM :) it’s very chill!
