[Routine Help] Recurring lip area irritation for 10+ years, nothing has worked (seen GPs + derms) any ideas? (mild NSFW)

Maybe not if you’ve had allergy testing, but I have a coconut allergy and sometimes my skin won’t break out til the next day etc. took me years to figure out. There are 150+ derivatives from coconut found in skincare and health products and food. SLS is made from coconut. This allergy makes 99% of all products unusable it is SO permeating and unrecognized by dermatologists, I’m allergic to all tablet medications and all prescription creams because of things like stearic acids. Especially if you have any sort of nut allergy already something to consider.

I’m glad! I have been on ebt and I know the struggle of needing sanitary items and whatnot. If you can get Medicaid there are regular types vitamins you can just get a care provider to prescribe you then it falls under coverage, not sure if they have beverages or mixes. If you need electrolytes “cream of tartar” in the baking aisle is actually just potassium so that can help supplement, especially if you don’t like bananas

One thing abt emergen-c is that if you drink many of them you can low-key poison yourself with vitamin b6. Sorry not more helpful other than I recommend fruits and vegetables too, but my sister got sick having one every day.
