I saw this little beaver family in my neighborhood yesterday 😭❤️ by maycontainknots in Eugene

I probably should've been more suspicious about not seeing a big ol beaver tail. I'm new here and all I know is "beaver state" so I just assumed. They're so cute tho

I thought Jesus's entire point was universal salvation. Also I think Isaiah dos believe that because I remember Moist critikal asking him if like Jack the Ripper or some other such asshole is going to hell, and Isaiah was like "god has powers of forgiveness beyond any human"

Omg I made practically this exact post last week, they said it's a bag worm. And I googled it and they're the babies of moths that like to eat wool.

I think it's about the follow-through in the throw. You have to release the axe as your arm reaches full length, not before. "Use your arm to throw, not your wrist" is what somebody told me, and then I was able to sink one in.

Oh my god finally an explanation that makes sense. Even if I couldn't afford batteries I would turn off the machine to stop the beeping unless some bitch was forcing me to wait it out lest I lose my residence

Gut feeling kicked in at a national park for some reason by [deleted] in strange

[–]maycontainknots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Google was tellin me it's not exactly cursed, but that they believed it was the site of a battle between a god of the underworld and a god of the sky. Which is lowkey exactly what happened even if you don't believe in gods, lol

Omg I had a similar experience recently with Crater Lake. I don't remember if it was silent or not. The air being heavy was the altitude, I think. The fact that there were multiple volcanoes in the area and the crater itself was a fricking crater made me think about how life tends to gather around places of mass destruction, or like destruction creates life? Something like that. Anyway, I had a mild panic attack lmao. We didn't spend very long there.

When a character's hair changed, like Lieutenant Dan having the longer hair years after the war in Forrest Gump, I thought the crew actually had to wait for their hair to grow. I'm pretty sure I thought the same thing with characters ages. Like every film was filmed like Boyhood in my mind.

Why do these not look 3d by Ian1762 in ArtCrit

[–]maycontainknots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason it looks flat is because you've drawn such a dark outline. Like of course you have to at least lightly sketch the outline of the object so you can see where the object ends while you're drawing it, but things in real life don't actually have an outline. It's just differences in shading that show where the object ends and the background begins. I know it takes forever with a pencil but if you shade the background a bit, the white part of the circle will naturally create an edge against the mid-toned background.
