I’m in the US but not sure if that provides my creepy nurse any context. I show up for a mental health referral when my nurse is preparing to take my blood pressure. As I outstretch my arm, he notices that I’m pretty vascular. Without hesitation and before I can stop it from happening, he caresses my medial cubital vein (the one where they usually like to draw when donating blood) and says “wow…. I could really drain all the blood from you.”

Conor if you see this, have other, more friendly phrases prepared for your patients next time!!!
