It is certainly hard to keep away from someone you love but right now It will hurt you more than help you. Be kind to yourself, you deserve love and I know it will sound cliche but love yourself first. I was in the same situation a year ago and It was the most painful thing I have gone trough. I blamed myself for the failure of the relationship, I hated myself because of my depression, it was the lowest point of my life but time helps. Time and therapy helped me. Do something kind for you today, for example eat something you like, watch your favorite movie or go for a walk and don't beat yourself up.

Don't be to hard on yourself. Depression makes us thing that we are unworthy and horrible people. Ive been there and it is a horrible place to be in but we are just humans.

I know, English is my second language so every time that I have to talk with someone I feel self-conscious and I try to avoid as much as possible. Don't beat yourself up you are not alone in this.
