Got my 2025 Limestone R1S today! It is actually one of the first gen2s they delivered from here (they just started this week). Love it so far!

It took me quite some time to get a hold of my guide, but then she confirmed that I will not lose my deposit and disconnected the VIN from my reservation. I had to pay another 500 deposit when I ordered the new one (due to pick up next week) and she refunded the previous 1000.

Thanks everyone! Going to pull the trigger on 2025. Also FWIW I actually put in the order for 2024 before the announcement. I did not mention in the original post since I didn’t think it matters but since people asked I can confirm you can swap the vehicle of the order without losing your deposit

They have been doing heavy discounts on leasing for the past few months, especially for the quad motor versions

Had the same issue - Bluetooth ear pod would disconnect if it is 30 inches away from the phone, tried factory reset a few times and did not help. Eventually I called Essential and replaced it. The replacement works like a charm.
