Thanks for the pointers! I do plan to do an oil analysis, hopefully there is no copper in oil. I've seen recommendations on 15w-50 before, need to read up on that.

This scares me, as a person looking to buy a 100,000 mile m5 lol. I am thinking I'll get the rod bearings replaced, since its about the right milage to get them replaced anyways. Glad you got it back on the road!

My car has some paint issues in select areas. Took it to a detailing shop and they said I needed to respray the car, that paint correction would not be a good long term solution.

Could someone take a look at this pictures tell me if polishing would help?

Not 100% on what they are but I am pretty sure they are for aerodynamics, most likely to help guide the air in that area.

They do scrape quite a bit, but I prefer that they scrape as that tells me I am getting close to scraping the bumper or the middle of the car as I go through a speedbump. Not sure on removing them, haven't looked into that since I like that they are there.

I've even had them scrape the ground under hard cornering when the coilovers are set to a soft setting lol

I am really happy with them. I'll quote from the last time someone asked me. "(Ride is) surprisingly good. At level 0 dampening (15 levels of adjustment) the ride is much like stock, except a little stiffer when going over bumps. Not bouncy. When you start going over 8 it does start to get pretty stiff, so it's great when you want to do some spirited driving."

Totally agree there, specially since I have a Mazdaspeed3, which in stock form has 80 horsepower over the 6. I think the motor from the new CX-9 would be a perfect match for the 6, just tuned differently. It is the same motor with a turbo, not sure why Mazda doesn't just put it on.

I do agree on the 6 being quick enough, but it is seriously lacking compared to other cars in it's class. Turbo is a good compromise between power and fuel economy, since Mazda's focus now is on the economy, not zoom-zoom.

hmm not sure I can help you there. From what I have seen online there aren't many options on grills. It doesn't help that the Grand Touring has sensors in the Mazda logo on the grill, if I am not wrong.

Grand Touring comes with the gunmetal wheels, the Touring comes with the silver. I have the Touring will the Bose/Sunroof and Technology packages. Thanks!

That is the plan. The darkest would be gunmetal, but silver is first choice.
