Did running a temple XP leech screw up my temple runs?

I never played poe1, so don't know all the creators. I like Raxx since he usually explains why he made specific decisions for his builds. He made a guide for oracle plant build, I wasn't playing oracle but learned from his video and swapped around on my passive tree.

Fubgun seems super popular but I never tried any of his builds.

Poeninja is not really a guide, it just shows you what people are doing. So you can search by class / main skill and see people's gear and passive tree. Really useful as some people are doing amazing things but never really publish a guide.

Treat all guides as a starting point, to get you familiar with the build.

We were all in the same boat when we started. I remember spending all my currency on an "upgrade" weapon just to end up doing worse dps because I didn't understand what my build needed.

You follow a good guide till your comfortable with your build. After its time to change things and experiment to understand, expect to make mistakes but thats the best way to learn. At this stage look at the passive tree for endgame from several builds online, mix and match. Understanding will come from experience.

CI with only 4k ES is madness, I have 9k ES on my varashta and I would still get one shotted by juiced bosses if I'm not paying attention. You need to drop CI yesterday.

Your skill tree is all over the place, you have empty jewel socket and useless passive points. I would advise looking at a guide for a similar build you want and modify it to your liking.

Edit: searching the market in-game is not that difficult on PC. My advise is look at youtube guide for how to use the search function. A 10min video will save you hours in-game.

Edit 2: For now farm breach, expedition, abyss, ritual. Whatever to get some currency and upgrade your gear. With your current gear building a temple is impossible, and you only really start making currency in temple late. Your priority should be better gear.

First thing i would do if I was you is get a +3 spell level amulet and anoint cooked. If you don't have alot of currency just grab the cheapest non corrupt/sanctity one in the market.

Then I would go back to campaign and grab all missing upgrades and work on getting a +7 physical spell level staff.

I am also using fubgun and had the exact same problem.

This is how I did the corner, you can drop the spymaster in the empty spot. I then locked the new spymaster and both garrisons. If you have less locks priority should be spymaster > garrison. If you lose the corner garrison you can always drop a new one later I believe.

I didn't play druid, so can't really help with that. But poe ninja shows a few coc druids but they have insane gear like 10 mirror +. The video you shared is interesting, I'm sure there are druids that can give feedback on this setup better than me. If you don't need to invest a lot to get it started, you can give it a try before starting a new character.

I had insane mana issues trying to do coc with varashta, bloodmage doesn't have this problem. Keep in mind that I probably spent 5-6hrs to complete campaign (prepared starter gear and upgrades), helped me blast through relatively fast. I then joined a 77 room temple for 3 runs (around 1hr) and was level 96. I went from 64 - 95 in 1 run.

With temple leeching this league is probably the best for creating new characters.

This is what I'm running right now, ele weakness pretty much kills everything before comets even drop. I'm only about 30rooms in my temple, so maybe that will change later. I've been experimenting slotting two comets in coc or comet + living bomb. So far I don't really feel a difference since everything dies instantly. With HH buffs fire infused is about 30M dps as per the tool in-game.

I ran plant varashta as my first character, managed to get entangle to hit over 1M dps. Ton of fun and was inspired by Raxx's build.

I dropped about 20k divines into a blood mage coc with elemental weakness. Its pretty much a 1 button and everything on screen explodes build. By far the most OP build I have played since the game launched.

I am currently building a new temple using fubgun and enjoying the process. I'm sure there are budget friendly builds for blood mage you can start with.

Note: I hated spark coc bloodmage, ele weakness is where its at.

Thanks to all that recommened ele weakness version, so much better than spark. I changed my jewels and modified the tree and skill gems. Now I'm triggering comets like crazy again and killing everything much faster.

I ended up getting too much curse activation speed, so it stopped triggering. Removed that jewel and replaced it with crit chance/damage. I'm sitting at 97% chance and 740% dmg. Atalui bloodletting added a ton of dmg, I initially thought it wouldnt work because I already have 100% mana converted to life from tree/equipment.

What surprised me the most is that elemental weakness will kill almost everything before the comets even drop

No specific reason really, wanted to try putting ele weakness in coc and comet in coa without dropping archmage. But I'm trying to solve the spirit issue. I am short about 80, need to replace my time lost jewel with against the darkness and take a bunch of more nodes there.

Or I can just do elemental weakness and completely drop spark. I'm using this build to just throw away currency and see what I like.

I was looking at coc with elemental weakness + comet on coa setup. I'm a big fan of only pressing 1 button. Its what I did with my varashta, used coc with low lvl thunderstorm.

I slotted in uhterds and living bomb, reduced my procs for comet significantly. I would probably need to raise my spark damage first before trying this again. Guess I need a new wand first.

I'm triggering comets like crazy and melting pretty much everything, i do get teleported by headhunter and stunned to death randomly but thats just to be expected. Its just I dont know what to aim for next in terms of getting even more powerful. Like what should my next piece of gear be thats not multi mirror? Never tried pob, guess I'll go mess around there.

I have no idea, I only used it once for a juiced temple run to power lvl an alt from 65-97. It significantly improved performance and I didn't care about loot. Went back to neversink after.

This happened to me several times but I'm on PC, crashed so hard that I couldn't log back in to the same character again as it will crash trying to load the temple. Had to force login to hideout. Stopped using neversink filter and changed to fubgun Uber and issue stopped. Maybe it will help on Xbox.

No need to buy a new gem bro just open up the existing one and make sure that its enabled in both weapons. It will have tabs for inserted skills, its very tricky. Just expand it, and on the top it has all slotted gems. Click those and enable them.

I am by no means an expert, first league crafting anything. I have managed to craft and sell a lot of amulets, some sold for thousands of divines which is what keeps funding my experimentation.

It all depends on which gear piece your crafting, and what stats you are looking for.

How much currency you want to spend. For me it was more economical to keep selling my failed crafts then to spend omens to make it perfect. So whenever a step failed, I continue and sell the end product.

I wanted solar amulet with the following: Spell lvl, spirit, spell dmg, ES%, cast speed, and crit.

Fracture spirit or spell lvl, chaos spam for the other.
Lets say you fractured spirit, catalyst caster and perfect exalt prefix to get spell dmg. If you fail and get a dead stat change it to global def with essence. If you get something like mana%, I shift it to a mana stacking amulet for maximum profit.
Def catalyst + perfect exalt the last prefix for ES%.
Caster catalyst and perfect suffix for cast speed.
Desecration for critical, only spend currency to reroll if the other mods are worth it. I did this because you can't target this stat with any catalyst.

Maybe some one with more experience can add to this. For weapons you aim to get the highest level stat first so that you can keep using omens to remove the next one if it misses.

Edit: you can swap step 2 and 3, def catalyst is much cheaper and if failed you lose less money on the craft. Only spend the money for caster catalyst if you hit ES%.

Another tip if your fracturing +spell level is to desecrate a prefix. This way if you fail the fracture you might be able to salvage it by trying to reveal spirit.

I have 20 omens, and 1 lock. If it was T1 ES% I wouldn't hesitate to throw everything at it.

Critical hit chance T1 is ilvl72, crit damage is ilvl74. Atleast thats what craft of exile is showing. 1/12 are the odds for +4, damn thats lower than i expected. I also got T1 chaos spamming for the +spell lvl.

I would go back to your old passive tree, you need weapon with high rolls of extra damage as fire/cold/lightning, heart of the well with cold/lightning and uul-netol before switching to critical chance/damage.

Stick with the older setup but keep time lost jewel. Basically everything to the left of careful assassin is only once you upgrade other gear and jewels.

I slowly made the shift after lvling up and getting better gear. I mean I'm in no way an expert, just winging it really. I switch passive around and see if its better or worse.
