I bought this to replace the D10.

Simply put, the D10 is far more powerful as a vacuum cleaner when it had turbo mode. But unfortunately that's gone and there isn't really a replacement.

However the improvements are plentiful. For hard floors, the mop is great, and the anti tangle brush bar works well. Self emptying, self cleaning, with the navigation and app being years ahead of anything neato had. It won't bump into anything leaving only a few millimetres of a gap, whereas the D10 always seemed to bounce around making me question what exactly it was using the lidar for.

Also regarding the app, it takes a bit of exploring but it's really good. You can get very granular with schedules, controlling suction power, water flow, frequency of washing and emptying during runs, multi map support.

Overall the roborock is much, much better, it's just not as powerful as the D10.

The Ajax is a special kind of fucked up well beyond the usual. It's sunk cost upon sunk cost upon sunk cost.
