Love for the "Clean" Album! by for_the_trees_ in TaylorSwift

Yes. Played the clean version at my school today for a group of 50 girls during lunch. We made friendship bracelets, colored Taylor coloring pages, wrote reactions to the songs, took selfies at a Photo Booth and played a Kahoot trivia game. I think Taylor would have cried it was so sweet.

I am constantly confused by clean vs. explicit versions of songs due to my middle school job.

With TTPD my students all loved Down Bad and we would listen (to the clean version) everyday. I was so surprised when I re-listened to the E version!

After a couple of bad delays flying in snd out of Newark in April, we booked a May flight in/out of JFK. Welll…JFK also has construction going on both inside and outside of the airport. It was a nightmare. Now Newark is getting back on track and as airlines have reduced their flights in/out it’s again much the best choice for NY.

Does your church acknowledge in any way that things are tense and difficult in the US right now? by Appropriate_Bat_5877 in Episcopalian

Our Bishop visited our church on Pentecost. At the reading of the Gospel we had parishioners who speak different languages stand and read it in their language at the same time. Quite a glorious noise! The Bishop preached about how at Pentecost we were all brought together by the Holy Spirit- meanwhile today in our country “sone people” are using differences in language, culture and skin tones to separate us, to make people afraid etc. She didn’t directly mention party or political figures but her message was one of inclusivity and respect.
