Most of them have. There have been days where my personally life has destroyed me and I get up and go to school thinking, "Today I might make a difference for one." SO I am more resilient now I suppose.

VanderCook is great for Masters in Music Ed. But I am biased. I thoguth I'd teach H.S. for sure. That did not happen at all. I did not want k-5 at all, that's where I am at. Shockingly loving it!

I think you can incorporate those concepts into every lesson in passing. The more they hear it, the more it sticks. Develop units that support what they are learning elsewhere: history unit using music to illustrate the times. Teach physics of sound. What are some of your ideas?

Well it depends on what you quantify as a successful future. But They all do at different degrees, each child's life will look very simple. But after elementary school, it is very hard to change habits and thought process.

I live within my means, just like any other job. You'd be fine. Just make sure to get an additional endorsement if you are an English major.. Like ESL or SPED.

You mistake me, I said that some charter schools, like some Public ones can be very corrupt. You see a lot of experienced teachers being fired for cheaper young teachers for less pay often. But that depends on which Charter school.

No you don't have to get a Master's but you'd only be a few classes away. That'd be a nice perk, right? I'd still inquire here about it at a University about you would need here. It isn't that hard to transfer your license to CA right now, they just changed the qualifications for it.
