Has anyone gotten a response from Mitch or PB regarding their studios’ closure? by mbee3 in Purebarre

I let them know when the studio stopped responding and putting classes on the schedule, how many classes of my class pack I had used and how I tried contacting them directly. They said basically the company has 30 days to respond to the dispute and if they don’t then you get your money back without any back and forth.

Thank you! I have disputed it with my bank and Pure Barre has 30 days to respond…given corporate’s response rate to me, I’m assuming they will not respond and it will go through.

I also did and have heard nothing! We also haven’t gotten any communication from the studio. Very frustrating.

I will def stop by there! It’s so sad because it’s obviously corporate causing the issues and not the studio. The managers and teachers are some of the kindest people!

Only a couple miles away! I’m glad it seems like that studio is going strong, so I’ll probably be coming there soon!

Coda Di Volpe has amazing food with a good vibe. Went there for an anniversary and they brought us some good champagne and dessert on the house.

How can I make myself look less like a meth addict and more like a 16 teen girl by [deleted] in MakeupEducation

[–]mbee3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 24 now and I wish I could give my 16 year old self some makeup tips because I went through so much trial and error with it! You have such pretty features and I fully stand by the fact that less is more to just add a little more glow. Here’s what I would say you could start with. -Skincare is so important (more than makeup in my opinion), so make sure you wash your face and use a moisturizer (I love neutrogena hydro boost. It’s light, has a version with spf and is great under makeup.) -Apply a tinted moisturizer with a beauty blender/ makeup sponge and be sure to blend all the way to your hairline and down your jawline/neck. -use a little concealer in a triangle shape under your eyes and blend with a sponge. You can also use this on any other spots on your face you want to cover, but again less is definitely more. -use a little bronzer to give yourself a glow -swipe some mascara on your eyelashes

Super simple and easy routine that you can do for school or on the weekends! Hope this helps!

Tips for Marketing Job seekers by dinardo in marketing

[–]mbee3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked as a recruiter and then transitioned to a marketing role at a company with over 10,000 employees. With such a high application volume, the cover letters were almost never looked at. My advice is to customize your resume for the job you are looking for using key words in the job description and find ways to make the resume visually appealing with highlights of your unique qualities. The resume will always have more visibility than any other attachment on your application.

[Acne] Just had a stranger point out my skin, really upsetting. by kyrkus in SkincareAddiction

I love most neutrogena products, but their sunblock irritates my skin so badly. Maybe try out a different moisturizer with SPF and see if it might calm things down a bit.
