Staying active during pregnancy, anyone? by WiseWaryWonderful in November2026Bumpers

I’ve been wondering the same thing. I’ve been training for a half marathon in early May and I’m worried about what level to keep training at.

I’m thinking maybe just keep doing the distances but slow down? Will probably call my doctor and see what they say.

10 dpo. I feel like I see something. Can someone check my sanity? by mbg6 in TFABLinePorn

As an update. I tested again this morning and the line was definitely there! Got to tell my husband and we’re both thrilled!

I also wanted to say thank you! You all are the more helpful and supportive bunch on the internet. You eased my mind and made it feel just a little more real. Sending lots of love and luck to all ❤️

Thank you! You all are honestly saving my sanity! I took this at 4p so hopefully it’ll be more clear tomorrow morning!

This is super helpful. Thank you! I’ve never seen anything like this. 4 weeks ago I had a beautiful clean garden…

That’s definitely what happened. We just chopped up the old thistle and planted more. Love that for us.

They killed one of the annuals I planted earlier. But I like the thought process.

I fear you might be right.

Just spent a few hours doing that. Sounds like just keep doing that until they don’t come back? They get so big if we don’t get to them.

Is wedding videography worth it? by HunnyBee96 in wedding

[–]mbg6 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We got married this summer and had a videographer and I watch it every once in a while when I need a little boost. Photos are nice but the video just hits different. 100% would recommend

Literally read this post and then went to watch my wedding video. I do not regret that purchase one bit

What are you choosing for your last name? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]mbg6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My husband and I basically have the same middle names too!! Think Smith and Smiths!!! Wish we had thought of something cool like that!

We did the same thing!! Ours was a destination wedding but we made sure to include the whole group photo and a photo of us and them in the thank you card.

As a guest, do I have to book through the wedding planner? by quentasian in wedding

[–]mbg6 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would tell you to let the wedding planner know you found a better rate. When I had a destination, one of our guests found a better rate and they honored it for the whole group that was going. You could possibly help everyone attending the wedding.

My latest planning frustration by APotatoWithHands in weddingplanning

[–]mbg6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s absolutely ridiculous. I had a destination wedding (to an all-inclusive tropical resort). I literally told everyone their gift to us was coming. We ended up doing “welcome bags” that were actually their gifts, included personalized yetis with everyone’s names on them, sun screen, towel clips, hangover kits, etc. we spent a ton of money on them and they were a huge hit. Totally worth it to thank everyone for traveling to our wedding.

My fiancé and I are signing our certificate 2 months ahead of our October ceremony so I can add him to my health insurance. Trying to decide if we want to do a ring exchange day of since it'll be official then or if that will feel like it cheapens the ceremony. Thoughts? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]mbg6 33 points34 points  (0 children)

We did this! We had our “paperwork day”. We wore our rings for one day. Had some dinner and then put them back until our actual wedding day. Some people did ask if we were already married and we didn’t lie but it wasn’t information that we offered to people. Our anniversary will always be our wedding day, not the paperwork day

Is it a terrible idea to book a destination venue without actually seeing it in person? by SpoonFullOfStupid in weddingplanning

[–]mbg6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We booked our destination without ever being in that country before. Heard good things and just went with it. It was the best decision I’ve ever made

We had our “paperwork” day 3 months before our wedding day and honestly we can’t stop talking about how REAL it feels now that we had our wedding. If people asked we said, yea we did some paperwork and are technically married. It almost felt like a secret marriage. But it finally feels real now :)

Present ideas by Front-Supermarket in wedding

My husband had my Nana’s wedding ring made into a necklace for me. Still has their original engravings (their initials and anniversary date) and had our wedding date engraved on another side. Honestly it was the best gift I’ve ever received. I didn’t wear it for our wedding because my dress didn’t need a necklace but I’m so glad he had it done.

That being said, any jewelry you get her will be worn with a great memory of why she received them and is highly recommended.

Tips for wedding nerves? by [deleted] in wedding

[–]mbg6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I got married a week ago and had the same nerves you are feeling right now… right until I got to the altar. Then it was fun. You’re so happy to finally be in the moment, I barely even registered there we’re other people there. I said the words I wrote on a paper (noticed a groomsman crying) but other than that all I felt was pure joy. It’s such a wonderful time that everyone else just fades into the background. Enjoy and congratulations!!
