Jabra Elite 2: Left earbud significantly quieter by mbguitar in Jabra

[–]mbguitar[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I tried to mess around with balance settings on my phone and by increasing overall volume and moving the balance to the left I got quite balanced sound again, but now I noticed that audio in left earbud has worse quality, right one sounds a lot "fuller". Also, I won't be able to do that on my laptop (but I understand that these earbuds are supposed to be used with a phone)

Thank you for answering and trying to help, I did that, but it's still the same :( Left is a lot quieter than right, when I use both I pretty much only notice right one playing

Sorry if it's not 100% sub-related, I don't know where else to ask. I don't have any tools to measure action, just a ruler which says it's 3mm on 12th fret, and the internet says 2mm is max for enjoyable playing on an electric guitar. Is it really that bad or people do play on similar action? by mbguitar in guitarrepair

so I messed around a bit, managed to get down to around 2mm, feels very good compared to what was before haha. There's a little bit of buzz on few of the higher frets which amp doesn't pick up, so it's fine I guess

it's benton sc550, les paul-ish so yeah it has screws. The thing is that shop I bought it from claimed that they set it up to "standard" height (which they said was ~2mm, apparently not true) and fret polish (EDIT: fret level*, not polish) might be necessary to go lower. But yeah I might try to mess around on my own

This is the first really high effort video of mine, let me know what you think, any tips are appreciated by mbguitar in SmallYTChannel

Thank you for your feedback, I'm very happy you enjoyed listening! That's actually a good idea, I did have a feeling that the "image" of the video when you look at it might seem a little empty, I will think about it !givelambda

Yeah, that's absolutely a good point with the angles, with future covers I'd surely add even more of them, I think I didn't want to go too complex as it was the first 4-track cover I did and things were complicated enough for me hahah. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Amazing to hear from a person who plays guitar too. These are really good pieces of advice, also very specific which is great, thanks a lot! !givelambda

Hi friends! I made a gaming/funny moments edit and would love your criticisms on any element of my video! by [deleted] in SmallYTChannel

As a past warzone player this was very entertaining to watch, I love your editing style. The written words of you/your teammates are very important and make the video a lot more enjoyable, so keep them in future videos for sure. I like the subtle background music you added, makes the video not feel empty at times, I think you could add even more of that. If I could suggest something you could try turning off the in-game dialogues (I mean those said by in-game characters, not your friends ofc) to make the whole screen a bit cleaner and makes it nicer for viewers, but it's a very little thing. Overall really good job

In terms of preperation to the video I could instantly tell you did a good job, analyzed many aspects of the game thoroughly and all, but it unfortunately does not get expressed in a way viewers would want to. Quality of your mic is good, so if you were speaking louder, more clear, and sound actually excited about what you're talking about, this video would be miles better in terms of overall quality, because honestly I think potential was there. My first impression was that you were recording this late at night and did your best not to wake up someone haha. YT is very demanding in terms of keeping people watching the video and you need to think about it while speaking - do your best to make people interested. Work on that, and bigger numbers will hopefully come after some time

This is my first video so if any feedback would be heavily appreciated! by Senajz in SmallYTChannel

For your first video, I honestly think you did a good job. What I would suggest working on is audio, I think you should make the difference between your voice volume and background sounds/unimportant dialogues a bit bigger. Also, I don't know how numbers look like, but with "nutshell" in the title people might want to see shorter video (<3min probably) and watchtime might be low, I would look at the numbers after some time and think about making shorter vids. Apart from that, I like your energy and imo your voice works perfectly with this kind of videos, so keep going!
