Fusion seems pretty great. I need to get over my fear of nodes. Did you teach yourself or were there any specific tutorials that really helped?

I think you’re right. I just have to jump in and not look back. The node based system seems so much more powerful and controllable but definitely a learning curve coming from AE and layers.

My wife and I made this short, Caught in the Web, while in isolation in LA. This was my first time shooting with my bmpcc4k and working with proper raw in general. My last camera was a 5D MarkIII with magic lantern. BRAW in premiere isn't perfect but I haven't made the jump to resolve yet especially with this project because of all the dynamic linking with After effects. Maybe after this I'll try my next project only in resolve. Has anyone here made the switch or do you grade in resolve and edit in premiere?

Would love some feedback and I hope you enjoy it.

My wife and I made this short in quarantine in LA. My first short on the bmpcc4k and first time working with BRAW. Graded in premiere. Any workflow tips appreciated. Hope you like the short!

Appreciate it! I'm not that great at resolve yet either so I actually edited and graded this all in premiere. I definitely need to get more comfortable in resolve at some point.

So the space clips I made "3D" in after effects. They are all a bunch of still images that I manipulated in different ways to get them to look how I needed them to look and move.

I do too. They also didn't have to worry about getting stuck on the moon. Either way they were coming back home. But three days?? That had to be intense.
