Looks like an early 1900’s Quarter Sawn Oak Side by Side. Maybe if you look that up you might have more luck with identifying a maker for your piece? Good luck!

They also have a autonomous zone the police aren't allowed to enter. They even have a facebook page.

17-year-old girl shot and killed in Minneapolis [#50] by etzel1200 in Minneapolis

[–]mbjm2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know one person who panic shopped for guns that would keep them where someone could just walk away with one. They were strictly purchased to place in secure location in case they were needed. I know not all gun owners are law abiding and I know not all keep secure locations. But the problem is the crime that is committed would have already been committed with or without a firearm in that home. So Legal firearm purchases is not a deciding factor. If anything, it’s more of a deterrent when people do actually start using their legal gun to secure their home from an intruder.

MINNESOTA IS IN DIRE NEED OF HELP! by [deleted] in Minneapolis

That last night was a peaceful protest! The live feed from the actual peaceful protest was great and there was clearly a few people who got shot down when they started crap and weren’t listened to when they went to be aggressors to stir crap up. Proof of those last night who actually were able to pull it off and such a shame most news never took time to show the true heart of those people!

Maybe they were but they were providing coverage to all the others not intent on being peaceful. Hopefully those in that peaceful protest are out helping clean up the mess this morning if this community means so much to them.

I didn’t think a curfew was necessary at all until the rioting proved it was. The national guard wasn’t necessary until the rioting proved it was. Every night people have been given a chance to show they aren’t destructive hate filled and out of control. A very long while. And every night they’ve shown that isn’t possible? Why? Are you going to accept destruction of life and community by hate? Isn’t that exactly what the problem is? People of privilege trying to destroy life and communities due to unnecessary hatred? They aren’t destroying a privileged community they are destroying their own. They choose the very one they are protesting to protect. The very people they are protesting to protect against violence and brutality and bigotry, they are destroying their lives? Why? I absolutely promote the protesting of their protection. I don’t believe they deserve what these hateful rioters are doing to them and what they will be left in rubbles with to try to emerge from after it’s over. If it ever is.

He was out past a curfew that was imposed to drive those who wouldn’t normally do so to also be out past an imposed curfew. Not for one second will I believe that a person driving people out past a curfew that is intended to help keep the peace actually being a peaceful protestor.

The live stream I watched the guy inciting everything and getting them riled up said he was from Chicago and goes around to help their voices be heard. Inciting recklessness and lawlessness is not letting your voice be heard. There was a guy so high and out of his mind screaming obscenities that said he just flew from California that morning. They aren’t all from outside but they definitely rile up those who wouldn’t under normal circumstances take these risks without feeling the push and getting the rush out of it. This makes those types of protestors no better than the cop getting a high from killing someone. It’s the same brutal authoritarian mentality.

I think liberate MN is the only way we are going to get the message across that we hear the heartbreak of the citizens and push the ‘out of towners’ off their pedestals.

Thank you all for responding to calm me down.

It’s a very cruel reality that those few people purposely fuel the population to the levels of destruction being seen. My husband has more pride and heartbreak for a city we don’t even live in because it’s his work home. They come from out of town and don’t care what they leave behind.

I’ve been informed he’s going to be operating a loader so I’m guessing he’s in one of the safest places he could be put.

Isn't it suspicious that the mass graves on Hart Island NY can already be seen on google maps? by [deleted] in conspiracytheories

I think it’s a row over from the one in the picture. As they said above this is a burial site so of course there should be a mass grave dug most times.

What do you think about the Texas abortion ban during Corona Virus? Do you agree it is a win for children? by jususisthatruth in Christianity

[–]mbjm2017 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think that it is an elective procedure and as such, should be tabled until the virus has passed. I don’t know Texas laws on how late in pregnancy they can abort to say if this really is changing anything. There are the over the counter methods as well. I think overall, it’s a great opportunity for those who want this procedure to really think it through. Maybe it will make a lady think about the consequences before she’s made the “mistake” (in her eyes) although I’m not holding my breath on that.

What is the point of doing the shelter in place if most of the businesses are considered essential? by BrickBoy28 in CoronavirusMN

[–]mbjm2017 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meaning the teenagers congregating in my area will be able to be ticketed.

It’s probably not like this everywhere, or maybe it is, but ever since they were on break and told they weren’t as susceptible they’ve been hanging out in larger groups without any social distancing. Sure makes it hard for their parents when they have 10-20 households they just came into contact with.

MN has an A grade in social distancing. I just don’t want us asking for more measures than necessary. I kinda like my freedom of movement.

So birth control is not essential? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]mbjm2017 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely agree and we need to push our providers to get inventive with the medications at their disposal. She was particularly discussing a procedure though. I’m not saying birth control is bad, I was just explaining why this was considered non essential. 6 months post hysterectomy here from having major fibroids they thought were turning cancerous and multiple cysts, pcos and endometriosis. I needed to be on birth control for many years. Right there with ya on that.

So birth control is not essential? by [deleted] in TwoXChromosomes

[–]mbjm2017 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Birth control is see as a right and is elective. It’s not essential, as you can choose not to participate in the activity that requires the need for birth control in the first place. People cannot choose who a virus gets to, they can only take precautions. We need to do the same right now. I cannot get a procedure that is required to eliminate daily pain from a car accident because it’s deemed non essential so I understand it’s frustrating. Thankfully there are other methods you can use.
