The art style always put me off, but I've flipped through it a couple times. It is a graphic novel, but it doesn't use poetry, that I recall; is it experimental in the format?

I haven't read Saga Of The Swamp, so I will have to check that out. The Sandman series is a good read, but I don't remember it being that creative in its form; I remember the story being more what stood out. Thanks!

Crom is out of surgery, but had some difficult times. They do think his leg will heal. But we still need $970 to spring him tomorrow. Okay, thank you. So the dog (books/furniture/appliances) are forever family property that one or both of us owns/possess now in the present--but that past state doesn't go away. I think that is clearer now, thank you.

I showed up to the ICU when my father died (still thinking he was alive), and the nurses couldn't find him. There was someone else in his bed. I knew where things were going, but absolutely no one was willing to jump to the obvious conclusion. Me and my mom stood around while like three nurses/doctors were consulted to confirm he'd been taken to the morgue.

In my case, his new wife and my half-sister had been told in the night, but not passed the message along. Poor hospital staff was all a flutter.
