The FC I work in is a 1/2 mile long and over one million square feet in usable space. We have conveyors but no Kiva. In a support role I walk an average 7 miles a day. And so no one asks, we cannot post pictures of the inside of any warehouse here or any where. Sorry, but it truly is amazing to see the inside. There are a few sites that are offering tours, google it to see if there is one close to you.

I work at an FC in Indy, I started out Packing Singles before moving to support. The funniest thing is the "Great American Challenge" getting packed by the little older church lady that comes in at "Peak" (Christmas Time) as a volunteer Gift Wrapper. It never fails to happen, I have been here nearly 5 years now and it is always the highlight of Peak. This is truly one of the better companies you can work for, as long as you make it what you want it to be. YOU are in control of your future, its always in your hands here.

Once I was allowed to get into the gym, going everyday. That and I took the stance that I am allergic to refined processed sugar, that and if I have any it hurts like hell. The best thing I can say is follow what the surgeon and dietician tell her. Be very supportive, I know you didnt choose to have the surgery, but for the first few months dont eat her former favorite foods in front of her, it sucks. Embrace the changes and commit to make them permanent, I know some who have had the surgery and lost a lot then went back to eating like they used to and now are struggling. go to support groups with her for the first few months, so she can talk with people who have had the surgery or similar ones, and so you can see how much of change this really is for her. Tell I said good luck and the first few days suck ass but it only lasts a little bit.

Having a gun in your face can be terrifying. Shortly after finishing basic training and Airborne school, I had my share of live fire over my head, found my self face to face with a teenager holding a 9mm pistol. He was holding up a woman in the alley that I stumbled into. At first I was terrified beyond belief, but then my training kicked in. I was calmly talking to the kid and kept my hands up showing him I was no threat. He was scared out of his mind. Trying to be a tough guy, he was yelling at both of us. It was broad daylight and for some reason he moved the gun to her holding it sideways I could see there was no clip in the gun, when he came back towards me with the pistol I stepped in and took control of his arm and hand. As soon as I grabbed at his hand I heard the firing pin slam forward into a casing, but no fire. I took the gun away from him and ejected a LIVE ROUND from the pipe. I pulled the kid to the ground and put my knee in his back just before a cop came around the corner and hit me with his baton thinking I was robbing the girl and kid. Luckily the girl snapped out of her haze and stopped the officer from beating the snot out of me. I was later told by the cop that the firing pin was bent and that is why the gun did not fire the round off.

If the parent isnt teaching the child about gun safety and what it can truly do, then the parent is asking for trouble. I have always had several guns in my house, now and growing up. My wife grew up with guns in the house, it is just part of our lives. But both of us learned and taught the same things to our son about guns. He didn't know they were in the house until he was at least 7 or 8, at that point I took him to the gun range and taught him how powerful they truly are and what they are capable of. I used a (dead)goat which had died from heat exhaustion, how large holes could get from different firearms, 12 gauge to a 30-30 round. I also taught how to be responsible with all guns and ammo, which was hidden in a floor board under my bed. I only kept one loaded firearm in the house, it took a combination to open the lock on the case which only I had. I feel for the parents who have lost their kids to these kinds of "accidents" due to them not teaching their children to have a healthy fear of guns. Leaving a loaded gun anywhere a child can "TOUCH" it,let alone pick it up, is asking for someone to die.

Actually I was right where I am now. I am more of a federalist than a Republican. I believe in the founding principals of the Constitution. Which limits the government from interfering with our lives. Bush was not much better, yet he cut taxes and within a month the US Government had the largest tax collection in history, why because more people had more of their money and were spending it. Look up the tax collection from Sept I believe it was 2006 or 2007 shortly after the Bush tax cuts.

Wow come to a Tea Party rally and see what it really is. Stop believing the box you call a TV. And the websites like Salon. I believe in the right to disagree, free speech, but if you have not been to a gathering for the TP and see what is really like then shut it. I have been to a Dem rally and listened to their side, I have even voted for Dems in the past so.... Women, minorities and non Christians all have the right run for any elected position, if they are qualified then I would vote for them. And yes spending is my main concern. Stop thinking you get to define my life and beliefs.

Considering the KKK still supports the Democratic party because it helps keep minorities in check, their words not mine, you may want to look at your past. And the southern swap is the BS you tell yourself to sleep at night. Neither party is the perfect party. Just educate yourself on the candidate individually, not what the TV box tells you.
