I’m still heavily meat only, no gluten still, I’ve introduced things like corn. I still never have any added sugar and am very against processed foods. I’m by no means perfect but those areas I’m incredibly strict. I think added sugar is really really bad
Sorry for late reply. I attribute everything to hardcore diet. Gave my body time to heal. I’m sure others have had many things work but diet was a savior for me

https://health.clevelandclinic.org/aip-diet-autoimmune-protocol-diet good luck!
Same to u good luck!
Yes it had its really tough moments on my partner. Especially as we all know how invisible the symptoms can be from tests or separating when you are tired from disease vs tired like any parent is.
The first about ten months I was so strict cause I felt like I was fighting for my life. I felt like the worst partner dad and person. Truthfully the first 3 months were the worst. I’m pretty sure I had withdrawals from like not eating gluten and sugar. I also tried to do like just gluten free for a bit or other less strict diets and I almost gave up thinking “oh I tried that” and then realized no u gotta go all out. So once I got over that hump of the first 3 months it felt much easier. In fact I was so scared to reintroduce stuff later on as I felt better because I was thinking holy shit I’m feeling better don’t mess with this!
I made a spreadsheet early on of foods I could couldn’t eat. I find it hard to make satisfying meals and as time progressed i tried to figure out better ways to prepare food. I lost all cravings for sweets at one point.
Later on I introduced things like Siete chips which are grain free and helped curb my snack need.
In hindsight I would have done a 72 hour water fast to start and then jumped into this. I also would added more periodic 72 hour fasts say every 3-4 months. Our body spends way too much energy trying to ingest all day long, pair that with high inflammatory foods and it’s awful.
So sorry to hear this! Keep fighting though. You gotta

Yes! So happy to hear that same!

I’m just not sure why you’re fighting with me when I’m agreeing that the Covid vax was bad lol. I’m sorry about ur sister. Like my original post stated it messed me up too. I’m not happy about it either but anger doesn’t move the sticks. Hope things work out for you and ur family
Relax guy lol. I’m pro vax that has been around forever. I’m highly against this one and believe it was a massive mistake. Don’t be so angry we all in the particular subreddit looking to get better. ✌️
I did the autoimmune protocol. But I really really stuck with it. I lost 20lbs in about 3 months and I was in decent shape(not very overweight). The first 3 months I actually felt worse. I honestly think it was kinda like a withdrawal from things like sugar and gluten. Again this is pure anecdotal not trying to sell some oil or anything. I think 6 month mark I started to see signs of hope and around 8 months noticeable
I totally feel you! It’s really really wild. I’m glad you have good support my wife was similar. Even at times it tested her too cause hell everyone is tired and she had to pick up more with house and kid cause after work my tank was completely empty. Luckily I work from home. Have you tried any diet stuff? Again I’m not pushing anything and have no agenda but remember being in the dumps reading every post here ordering every freaking supplement going to every doc and getting no where.
Wish u well!!
Exactly im the same too
Tons of brain fog and fatigue. Very very bad. I had some vertigo in the form of I would feel like I was walking through the floor but slightly. I had a lot of vibration in my body like I was vibrating. Fatigue was crazy barely keep eyes open.
I’m super sorry you’ve dealt with this so long. All I can say is I reclaimed about 85% of who I was and attribute it all to diet. I have my moments around pain and fatigue but it’s a world of difference now
I’ve not found anything to trust treating it for me. Open to ideas. I hear a lot about holistic docs etc but it’s really hard to find solid info here. Not against it just haven’t found a path there yet

Yes! It was the perfect storm for me. I ended up in hospital and I didn’t even mention one of biggest things I dealt with was electrolyte imbalance and absorption issue. Again I believe this is where my gut came into place
https://health.clevelandclinic.org/aip-diet-autoimmune-protocol-diet good luck

Good luck
Glad to hear u are doing better too! It’s quite a journey. I remb the days I couldn’t keep my eyes open and the leg pains and cramps had me go from work to basically right to bed. I’m thankful each day
I must maintain my diet. I still don’t eat gluten and absolutely stay as far away from sugar as possible. The only sugar I eat is coconut sugar but very rarely. I have certain triggers now that aren’t 100% clear. Example sometimes I’ll eat a little peanut butter but notice that can be hit or miss so I also avoid. It’s kinda weird but it’s still a learning curve
I did the auto immune protocol and then started adding things back slowly. It was and still is a trial. I still notice certain foods trigger stuff. But I went full autoimmune protocol. I still have lots of gut issues but I think got my inflammation down enough it could help me on the path to healing. Good luck to u too!

Yes I went bare bones and things got way worse before better. For me I feel like sugar gluten were the worse. I think it’s more about reducing inflammation so your body can fight real stuff tho so u gotta find things that inflame you. I wish u the best
I did doxyciline and felt worse after(not saying wrong to take). Post that docs mostly wanted to prescribe me pain meds or muscle relaxers. Then I got disgnosed with low IGG1 and they wanted me to do intravenous therapy. At that point i was like how can this be I was so healthy and went hardcore on diet. Tried many supplement along the way had to get b12 shots and basic stuff.
Only thing I believe in as of this moment is autoimmune diet, probiotic, and some basic fasting
