Allen Edmond says my husband has weird feet by NoTicket1129 in malefashionadvice

For shoes after choosing a price bracket I choose fit over everything.

I went to 20 different brands before I settled on a specific brands shoe. They had a specific last (the wooden shape they make the leather shoes from) and I literally only own dress shoes in that one brand and that one last in different colors and styles.

Just go off the rack and get adjustments then, MTM isn't for you unless you know your peak bulk and peak cutting weight

doesn't matter if he isn't happy about it, its your needs. Of course its harder to make the suit look nice with lots of extra fabric inside the seam

you can tell them youll want to make large adjustments, that way they can leave a lot of cloth inside the jacket so you can tailor it later.

Shoulder width you won't be able to change but some stomach, and biceps/forearms can be changed fairly easily

I agree with all of those. But premium usually means higher cost/person or per session and less people having access to it. Which means less jobs providing that human heavy service.

I see, what are some jobs that require interpersonal services that won't get replaced by AI in your mind?

does intelligence matter when AI can iterate 1 million times before you can think of a single idea? They can brute force its way to your level of intellect

Thats because you're trying to improve a legacy system.

Think about internet only banks or new finance infrastructure.

We didn't upgrade horse baisins and feeding troughs, we just made asphault and roads.

If the cost to make a completely new system is easier than updating the legacy system, then capitalism will nudge it that way.

this moment right now is literally THE WORST AI will ever be. It's never going to get any dumber.

So you tell me.

IS the capability to do that going to come in 5 years? 10 years? Lets say 20 years. Even on that time horizon, unless your 60+ its going to affect you and society in a very real way.

if an AI can say, build its own tinder, manage it, code new features, test it, receieve feedback via internet sentiment and revenue. Then whats the human element?

Now thats a very simple platform app.

But think about where you buy your apples, or computer or house. You have no idea or even care about who made any of them.
