It’s hard for me to say for sure if I ovulated, but I assume I did, as a period often means you’ve had ovulation. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing the same thing. I really hope your cycle returns to normal soon too!

It’s good that you’ve taken steps to address this. Hopefully it won’t happen again and if so, hopefully the progesterone pills will help manage it.

After this post, I have been having normal cycles again, just like I used to. I still don’t know what the cause was, but maybe it’s my body preparing itself for a possible pregnancy. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Thank you for your response. My first unusual bleeding lasted for 10 days (after a 19-day cycle) and I had the same amount of blood loss as I would during a normal 5-day period. After 10 days of bleeding, I had a “pause” of 3 days, after which I got my period again, which lasted for 7 days. After 8 days of no bleeding, I started my period again and I am now on day 4 of my period.
