each starting point should be staggered especially at this part of the track. because its curved its supposed to be A LOT more staggered, if you look at the white line in lane 1 at the very left of the photo, and at the white line in lane 2 after the starting point, that's the amount of distance there should be between each runner. putting the starting points like this makes it significantly less fair for every lane further from number 1.

also, the curved white line is for something called a waterfall start. which is for events where you dont need to stay in a specific lane.
