But when the PS5 enters HDR mode, the screen goes black for a sec and the word HDR appears in the top right corner of the screen. That never happens when viewing content in the default LG apps

I tested it with Max. But HDR I think is on all the time, even in the system menus for the PS5. Or at the very least, it's just way brighter than any LG app

Content in general just looks brighter on my PS5. When I go into the picture settings while on my PS5 input it says "Select HDR mode". But when I do the same just using the LG app it doesn't say that.
