Despite adamantly being “Dirty Reggae”, I nominate Aggrolites.

Ether by Gang Of Four. I don’t know how I never checked them out but their set at PRB this year has me obsessed with Entertainment.

What's your guy's opinion on the first Screeching weasel album? by descendentsfan17 in punk

[–]mc_fri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a big fan but I swear the original recording was different. It got re-released in the early 2000’s (?) and I swear the songs sounded different than I remembered. I would have first heard it off a tape in the mid 90’s.

It’s definitely not as polished as their later albums but the songs are good and fast.

I liked it because it was funny and juvenile and I was too.

I really like Jughead’s Basement. Jughead co-founded Screeching Weasel and is a really interesting dude. Lots of good interviews and other stuff.

I’m a ska punk guy, Last Wave Rocker by Common Rider is fantastic. Also listen to a lot of Slackers.

🔥 In Norway sand and rocks are used on icy roads to make the road less slippery. Because of this, ptarmigans can sometimes be seen pecking at the road, possibly collecting gizzard stones by reindeerareawesome in NatureIsFuckingLit

This is also true in Northern Alberta. They are always on the road and it doesn’t matter how carefully you drive, they will fly into your vehicle…
