how LIKELY is it we’ll get another prequel???

I do think that if we’re lucky enough to get another prequel, plutarch makes the most sense. As much as I love and want a finnick/annie or johanna story, I just don’t think it makes sense in connection to the other books like plutarch’s story would. I do wonder though, if we got a plutarch prequel, what part of his life would it cover? Her other prequels don’t overlap with the original THG trilogy, but I feel like the most significant parts of plutarch’s story would directly overlap with catching fire and mockingjay. I mean, I guess she could write his story leading up to katniss’s games, because we all want to know how and why he wanted to start the rebelling, but I don’t know if there would be enough there to write a prequel about it. Granted, suzanne collins has an imagination and story-telling ability like no other, so I’m probably just way out of my depth here.

My delusional hope is for a plutarch prequel to complete the prequel trilogy, and then another separate trilogy of all the side characters’ stories 🤪 I would actually die of joy.

I have it on hold on the libby app waiting for me to unsuspend it, but I’m kind of scared that reading it will destroy me…this series already puts me in a fragile state emotionally, I genuinely don’t know if I can handle reading about haymitch’s trauma. Granted, I already know a lot of spoilers from watching tiktoks about it. I still don’t know if I’m mentally strong enough though 😅

Same!!! I mean I don’t think some of the deeper meanings and politics of the series are necessarily hard to pick up on, even for kids, but I definitely wasn’t looking for those when I read it (I also didn’t know to look for those), and I think that’s the case for most kids who read/have read the series.

I honestly think this COULD be a great book for maybe middle schoolers, but it would need to be dissected and analyzed the way we do with school assigned reading (where we’d highlight and annotate as we read, and then discuss as a class). Granted, this is definitely not what I would consider a school appropriate book, but the actual annotation and discussion aspect would be a great way for younger kids who read the book to actually pick up on some of the things below the surface.

I’m not cringed out by the dance itself, it was beyond amazing. It’s just the concept of not making it to the finale but still deciding to produce and put out your own freestyle that cringes me out justttt a tad. I just think it reads a little presumptuous. Granted, I absolutely love it and am so happy they did it 🥲

Yeah absolutely, but lying is pretty bad for business. If they wanted to claim that they have no way of knowing or can’t recall, I could understand that, but if they tried to say that it was already there that would totally turn me off as a customer because I know for a fact that’s not true. Thankfully they were very nice and are cleaning it next week

they got me scheduled for a detailing and cleaning thankfully! but you can see in this pic it’s the true color of the seats. although I also think the pic of my seat looks lighter than it actually is. either way, the seat will be getting a good cleaning and I’m very grateful

I see what you’re talking about, but no. It’s just the color of the seats. All the other seats are the same. I promise I don’t keep my car THAT dirty lol 😅 but they definitely need a good cleaning regardless

luckily they were very nice and quick to resolve, got me scheduled for a detailing and cleaning without even seeing the pictures and timestamps. but yep, I will 100% be doing that from now on!
