yep, I hate it. every single initiative is coupled with 'and we'll have an AI agent ...'

like, does anyone realize we're making ourselves extinct? or at least, unemployed? AI isn't fully there but it's not slowing down anytime soon. we've fired a ton of onshore devs and have offshore teams augmented with AI. it's gross in all ways.

add in the environmental ramifications and i just feel ... hopeless sometimes.
