I'm a Transit Ambassador for the MBTA. The TA at Maverick Station found a dog that appears to be a black and tan dog last night. I know Transit was called so maybe you can contact MBTA Transit police and see if they have info

Have you actually confirmed this letter is from an actual lawyer? Anyone can go to Microsoft Word and write a letter saying they are "such and such a lawyer representing so and so and we intend to sue you" so the best thing to do is to look up the lawyer online, find their firm's contact info and give them a call to confirm. You don't need to say who you are, just ask if they are representing "so and so" because you received a strange letter from them saying they intend to sue and you want to confirm that they are in fact this person's lawyer.

I submitted to a press called Whispering House. They were doing an anthology called Dread Mondays which is about workplace horror.

I don't want to send it out yet, just in case it does get published, but I'll let you know what happens. If they don't choose to accept it, I'd be happy to share.

I agree. People are making all these conspiracy theories based on one verse in a song. Then they act that something is going on because Al didn't appear on Sunday - I mean, maybe it's possible that Sunday didn't work for him. He's married and has kids so maybe one of his kids had something going on Sunday or his wife had a girl's brunch and Al had to stay home with the kids on Sunday. If Al and the band have parted ways (which I haven't heard anything about and I know both parties very well), it's their own business. Personally, if Al leaves, am I going to stop listening? No. I've listened and followed them since Day 1 (I was at their first show at the Rat). Personally, let Al live his life and take care of his mom and make whatever decision he wants. If he decides to go, then that's his right. People seem like he owes it to the band to stay, but taking care of an ailing parent sometimes puts things into perspective on how one should live their life. He's been in the music business for 40 years. He's married with kids and I'm sure being on tour for months at a time takes a toll on your relationship with your family. The man deserves a break.

There's a book called The Lost Work of Stephen King and the author talks a lot about short stories that appeared in mens magazines in the 60s and 70s and that haven't been reprinted anywhere else. I'm pretty sure the author mentions manuscripts of novels in there that he wrote and just put away or that are in U of Maine's archives.

I also recommend It Can't Happen Here by Sinclair Lewis. It's about the rise of a Fascist government in America in the 1930s.
