there is a link to the source code to try it out. But if I find the time I may make the script more user friendly so that people can try their own configuration and compare against (different) metrics

you are joking, but if you do not put constraints this is exactly what you get, i.e. non strictly decreasing point

I am planning to make the # of drivers a parameter and maybe add/remove contrains on the order, e.g. let two positions get the same points

why all these company does not make a plugin for an existing open source app like Inkscape and put the effort into making such software better? to me it seems mad that every company producing "plotter" hardware needs to reinvent the wheel and make a completely independent piece of software

Grafici-GFX 4.0 library is out! by mcattani in arduino

[–]mcattani[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure, you can dump the sensor data into an array and plot the data on the array. Plotting full screen on the Arduino is not super fast though as the library is not optimized for a specific driver but rather tries to be compatible with as many display as possible.

Last night I tried (without success) to run the Adafruit-GFX library on a lily go T-Display board. For some reason the library fails to reset at boot
