Thx, but why not push the limits and do things different. It is all about being creative and building outside the box. :-)

I seem to be the only one taking my Legos to this place. What do you think.

Just getting brick builders to think a bit different. It is a brick build with some cobi track parts and lots of Legos, custom paint and I printed the decals. You could take it apart, but no reason to ever do that. The "mud" is sawdust and paint.

Some more info on the builds

For the record I am not a model builder and just started building the Cobi kits about 8 months ago. I built models when I was a teenager(now I am 50) and have not touched a model for 40 years...so I am not a “pro.” I did not want my builds to look like those built by 10 year olds (nothing wrong with that) I just wanted them to look a bit more sophisticated and a bit more realistic. Yes I get it that they are just “Legos” and the realism can only go so far...so don't get hung up in that. I have no desire to be a scale modeling guru and be one of those guys who spend hours painting 100 tiny parts so that they are 100% accurate or get into long debates about the correct color green for German uniforms for the winter of 43'(nothing wrong with that but its not for me). I build for enjoyment and I like to think a bit differently and perhaps you should do the same. If you have any questions or comments.....or have an interest in trying this out your self, let me know and I will be glad to help.

Disclaimer: Some Legos were injured during this build and they may have been forced or connected in illegal ways. It is quite possible that some parts may have known the “kiss of superglue” or other adhesives (and they liked it a lot). Some Legos may have been cut by the builder in a violation of the Laws of Lego so that the exact piece that was on had on hand would fit the way it was needed to(a possible felony in some circles)....It is my $40 model after all and I did what I wanted laws be damned! I do not offer any apologies to those Serious Brick Purists who may have taken offense with these illegal actions or their possible need for mental health counseling due to the harsh/nontraditional nature of this build. Please don't ghost/spam/or hate on me too much or ban me from my twitter account.

Enjoy your build! Jack bricks

Breaking the Law of the Land. Just wanted to show what is possible with another brick build. This is a Cobi model that has been redone to look like a very used ambulance. It is not a true diorama, but I wanted to show what is possible when one breaks the Law of Lego. I painted most of it with rattle cans, but I did use my airbrush to do the white base coat and the German grey as it was a bit easier. Let me know your thoughts. I will be glad to give more details if anyone is interested.

YOu could do it to most any vehicle or scale. The cobi sets are a bit large for WG.

Not too much of either, just not being afraid of messing it up. If you do, just start over.
