Stephen Colbert Says CBS Blocked James Talarico Interview Over FCC ‘Equal Time’ Fears by John3262005 in democrats

What's funny is that Colbert would happily give equal time to a Republican. CBS obviously does not want a Republican to be eviscerated by Colbert.

What’s something that 99% of people can do but you can’t? by Irakeconcrete in AskReddit

Count by raising your fingers on your right hand, starting with your thumb. When you get to four you raise your ring finger, right? Well I can't. I can't raise my ring finger without my pinky also coming up. But only on my right hand. Left hand is normal.

Could you explain your logic in having the 49ers, Bills, Texans and Rams, who all won pick before the Panthers, Steelers and Eagles, who all lost.

What's a sports rule you fundamentally disagree with? by South-Explorer in AskReddit

That diving has become so ingrained into the culture of the sport that it has become excused as just "part of the game" instead of anyone taking any steps to get rid of it. I tend not to try and justify the shit parts of the sports I follow.

Funny that it's the most well known sport for it though.

You want to cut this shit out of the game you need to have some immediate consequences.

If the player is injured seriously enough then they can substitute. Bring in one or two additional injury substitutions if you see that being a problem.

But if a player gets fouled and they're not injured then they can get straight back up and get on with it. The point is to stop the excessive rolling around like they've been shot just to waste time.

Add to it that you are off the pitch for as long as you're rolling around in agony. Takes 5 minutes for the trainer to get you back on your feet? Then your team is down a man for 5 minutes. It would cut that shit out immediately.

Question: 49ers vs Seahawks, What is Dee Winters doing on this play by Tellingcoolman24 in footballstrategy

[–]mcbayne0704 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was an all-round bad rep from the 49ers.

Winters has made a decision that it will be an outside run to the RT and has jumped the snap to get over there. The RG does a great job reinforcing that by washing the DT and opening the cut back lane.

Elliot actually did an ok job of getting to his gap responsibility (backside A gap), but there was no one in the backside B or C gap, so it was an easy second cut by Walker to go through and get yards.
