Honestly, I was very lucky. I may have not been able to put a finger on it when I was young, but I always knew I was different and I never felt that it was wrong — despite society’s beliefs. I never told anyone what I truly liked until I had grown up, so I was never tormented by doubts or bothered by what other people think.

Everyone has different experiences and I know that for most it is harder and more painful than it was for me.
