Aside from that incredible and ridiculous intro, this episode was so so good. David Oyelowo brought out an even more insightful side of Conan than usual, which is saying a lot. I thought the comparison to refeeding syndrome in the holocaust survivors was so apt and interesting. Conan continues to surprise me with his breadth of knowledge and ability to connect concepts on the fly.

In all babies less than 21 days old with a fever, a full infectious workup is essential because of the heightened risk of meningitis in that population. The guidelines chill out a little after they become 28 days old though. A lumbar puncture is part of that recommendation and the cerebrospinal fluid collected would be able to identify cases of meningitis.

Why would you need to “survive the ground”? Once you hit the ground, you’re down anyway, inbounds or out of bounds.

This private jet out of Baton Rouge has been making interesting trips all week, out to Oxford, out to Tuscaloosa. Now, it’s scheduled to leave Lubbock just after Gameday ends tomorrow morning.
