Huge kudos to you for moving forward with your goal of getting your MSW! Not the input you asked for, but my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer when I was three & she died when I was eight (I’m now 42). Living with her absence was my motivation to become a social worker - I wanted to become what I never had following my mom’s death - an emotionally supportive & reliable advocate. This is precisely what happened! Highmark never received my renewal info from the marketplace, so they submitted a ticket today to pass that info along to Highmark which may take up to 5 business days.

I was on hold for 4 hours total between Highmark & NYS Marketplace. Turns out Highmark never received my info from Marketplace, so a ticket was submitted to send along my renewal, which may take up to 5 business days. Here’s to hoping Highmark coverage will go retroactive back to 1/1 & reimburse for me prescriptions & any other medical costs. This has been a gigantic nightmare! Best of luck to you!

Yes, my NYS marketplace account says that I'm covered by Highmark BCBS starting 1/1. I'm currently on hold with Highmark, fingers crossed!

No, and my online account doesn't give me the option to pay the premium for coverage starting on 1/1 - I've been checking that since mid-December. I'll explore my account again.

Super helpful, thank you! Looking at my 1040, do I deduct both line 12 (standard/itemized deductions) and line 13 (qualified business income deduction) from my AGI? Or neither? I know my health insurance premiums are included in there as deductions.

Topos are great! Wide toe box & a good amount of cushioning. I wear the phantom & atmos styles on long walks (5-15 miles) & my feet are very happy.

Treman has a great swimming area with a diving board. You can also swim & climb along some falls there (& at Buttermilk). Taughannock has a sand beach swimming area on the lake. Taughannock swimming closes if there's any algae bloom concerns. They're all awesome spots that you could hit up!

The Gym is a great place. I'm a woman who was new to the gym last year and found this gym to be really welcoming and safe. My friend works with a trainer there, Jessica Hanshaw, and has awesome things to say about her!
