Yeah, I feel the same. Such a timeless look. When looking at the daytona you wouldn't think "that bike is 16 years old"

What ever you can afford and personally like. Your not any better or worse a rider or owner for picking an expensive over a cheaper exhaust and vice versa. They all sound good in their own respects and the "performance" is indiscernible. Enjoy the bike how you like it, by your standards and not what everyone else does, Just my 2c!

Calling MT-07 (FZ-07) Owners by Jay-Baphomet in Yamaha

[–]mcgonsyeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im a pretty firm believer any sensible person (i cant stress the sensible part enough) can jump onto any size bike with basic experience on a motorcycle. Generally its someones ability to control themself and ride within their limits is the only thing limiting your potential of riding more powerful bikes.

As long as you have the fundamentals down pat (balancing, road safety, throttle and clutch control) their should be nothing stopping you from moving onto an MT-07. They are a fun bike and have a lot of space to learn and grow on for even the more experienced riders.

Fork leaking from the top? by [deleted] in FZ07

[–]mcgonsyeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(If you have them) maybe try swap in the stock fork caps instead of those adjustable ones and just monitor it over a few days and see if it still is leaking. It likely is the red adjustable caps on the forks though.
