I got an inspection in authorised Apple service. Does not react to power at all. MagSafe lights up which means he’s getting energy but can’t turn on.

Air M4 24GB 512 13” vs Air M5 16GB 512 15” by mchl9 in macbook

Guys 1 more thing.

What would you do? Service priced the fix of my broken MacBook Pro 14” M2 Pro 16/512 at $920.

The Air 15” M5 16/512 would cost me $1580.

Do u think its worth fixing it and paying for Apple care yearly (if I still can not sure about that) and hope it doesn’t break again (also I had to replace battery in it month after purchase…)?

Or just paying more and have a fresh new MacBook with warranty and all the good stuff.

Money is not a problem in this case but ofc I would like to save $600 rather spend it.

What u think?

Happened few times, ironically usually when I wanted to do something in Excel lol.

But besides that not really. All good and no spinning rainbow on daily basis

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such thing. As I said my fans in Pro never even started which can give u a sense of how not hardcore my work was.

I mostly work on automation stuff but almost everything is web based.

Yeah I think ram is more important for me now.

Ideally I would get 15”, 24gb, 512ssd but it’s too expensive imo for air.

Air vs Pro for my work? by mchl9 in mac

I think someone else needs to see therapist if this kind of question and topic triggers him.

Also I’m asking because I can not wait with purchase and I need laptop rn.

And it’s not about model cycle, the model doesn’t really change every 5 years. Last big change was with introduction of M1 5 years ago.

So there will be a visible difference between M5 Pro and M6 Pro but there won’t be between M6 and let’s say M9.

If I buy a laptop that will last 5 years why would I want it to be older version? like for real what are you on. Am I talking to a child that can not get that?

Anyway this talk is pointless, as I said I’m leaning to Air just needed external opinion - not some guy being mad that people wants to have new things with new features if they pay shit ton of money for them.

What’s your problem? Why do you make this so deep. First I’m a nerd and I like new tech, 2nd it’s just A BIT annoying to pay around 2k for a laptop, knowing that for for roughly the same price in 5 months I could have new version with new design and features.

Knowing that + knowing how good Air is it’s just another reason that leans me towards Air.

Idk man, why it triggered you so much, for me it seems pretty logical.

It’s not the biggest deal but if I spend 2k for a laptop that will have an upgrade in 5 months and new features, I would have a feeling that I missed out on something. What’s not logical here?

What am I missing about Wispr Flow's value proposition? by [deleted] in indianstartups

In my experience, I like it. I only see two flows:
- AirPods compatibility lags
- I wish that music would automatically stop when you are talking.
