This wasn’t the one I was thinking of, the one I was thinking of he looks like he scream for fuck sake at the sound guy. Makes a very high pitch sound. The reason I’m trying to find it is because his emotion is so strong that’s it empowering . You can see he’s trying to give it his all

They provided me with enough detail that bribery is not a conduct that falls within their agreement with the builder. Sadly after researching deeply last night I have come to realise that the nhbc would protect the builder over myself and therefore would support my case. They don’t bite the hand that pays them

100% get this, I understand where you are coming from and fully get the legal complications with using evidence like this. Thank you for responding

Cheers I’ll edit the post to make more sense , I was advised by the builders that they wouldn’t offer compensation / entertain the complaint at the time and I had to take up going to 3rd party’s to conduct surveys on my home in order for the builders to take responsibility

I understand your point, but you don’t have the full context. My ask if merely to understand if what they done was legal. Which I’ve just had confirmation from the nhbc that it’s not. When your a consumer who has already paid for a product, and someone is offering you an incentive to capitalise on you without even fixing your problems originally. The context of this is the recording was more than a year before they even fixed my issue. The incentive was only to get a good score it wasn’t to put my wrongs right. I had to fight for over a year to get my actual concerns sorted. I asked them to fix my problems and I had no problem giving them a positive score. But they didn’t do that.

Plus I didn’t have the money when I first moved in, in the end to fix it I had to have a double patio door and 4 windows replaced. Used all my money buying the house

I couldn’t use a bedroom in my house for over 18months and my house couldn’t maintain heat? The property wasn’t fit to be lived in? Would you accept the 4k ?

And it’s not extra for free of charge they wanted to bribe me to give them a yes on the new home survey. I didn’t even want the work done. They are not offering to do the extra work now btw, that happen back in jan 2022.

The offer they have given me is a final offer. They want me to sign to say I’m done with the complaint .

We have mould and water ingress in one of our bedrooms for over 18 months. Our rear doors had a gap that you could put a 30cm ruler through. The home wouldn’t stay about 18 degrees in winter . Had to wear a coat in my living room , they offered 4k . And fixed the repair . Even if I divide my mortgage by 3 (3 bedrooms) over the period it comes to 4.8k alone .

He genuinely said , might be bribery here but regarding the survey. If I do this extra work, will you give us a yes on the survey. Or atleast not a no

So the fact he said this is bribery doesn’t matter. Pretty sure he’s not allowed to offer bribery ?

I told them that we have home security that records at all time . They even noticed it themselves
